Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has had his day in court. And when it comes to charges filed against him, he was found not guilty in an Ohio court on Thursday morning. Mixon was accused of “aggravated menacing” stemming from a road rage incident that stemmed back to February of this year.
After four days of testimony and deliberation, the court came back with a decision of not guilty for the star running back. All roads legally look to allow Mixon to put this behind him. However, the NFL will surely continue their investigation independently of that and will provide further guidance at a later date if they decide to punish Mixon or not.
