Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the precipice of a three-peat as they prepare to square off with Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59.
The teams have been busy on Media Row, the press conference junket ahead of the big game, discussing everything from their preparations for their third straight Super Bowl to the officiating conspiracies surrounding the franchise. However, as one might expect, for Kelce, questions about his girlfriend, pop icon Taylor Swift, continue to steal the spotlight.
Travis Kelce Reveals Which of Taylor Swift’s Cats Is His Biggest Supporter
While fielding questions from reporters on Media Row, journalist Kelly Singh asked, on behalf of Swift fans, which of the pop star’s cats supported Kelce and his on-field exploits the most.
Faced with a decision between Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, and Benjamin Button, Kelce mulled over his answer briefly before answering, “Probably Benjamin.” When pressed on why he chose that particular cat, Kelce responded, “I don’t know. He’s kind of the one I see the most, I guess.”

Though Kelce surely has a warm relationship with each of Swift’s pets, his choice of Benjamin is sure to elicit plenty of discussion among the “Swifties”.
When not focusing on his partner’s cats, Kelce is deep in preparations for his third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, and his fifth in six years. The Chiefs are 3-1 on this stage during that span, with their only loss coming to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
Kelce has been slowing down from a statistical standpoint over the last couple of seasons. After recording seven straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons, the last two years he’s tallied under 1,000 yards in both seasons, with just eight total touchdowns.
To put it in perspective, in 2022 alone he had 1,338 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. However, in the biggest moments, Kelce remains among the most dangerous playmakers on the planet.
Retirement rumors have swirled around Kelce in recent weeks, though he’s tried to quell some of that noise during Media Week. Speaking to the press, Kelce revealed his plan to continue his playing career late into his 30s. “Where will I be in three years? Oh man, I don’t know, hopefully still playing football.
“I love doing this, I love coming into work every day and I still feel like I still got a lot of good football left in me. … For the most part, I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football.”

However, he does understand that there is an expiration date to life as a pro athlete.
“But we’ll see what happens. I know I’ve been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life and that’s always been the goal, knowing that football only lasts for so long. You got to find a way to get into another career, into another profession. I’ve been doing that in my offseasons.”
Regardless of what comes next, Kelce and the Chiefs will narrow their sights on the Eagles on Feb. 9. The tight end can rest assured that his biggest fan will likely be cheering him on from Swift’s home.
