Chiefs vs. Jets Player Prop Bets for Sunday Night Football: Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Garrett Wilson and Others

Will Travis Kelce score another touchdown with Taylor Swift in attendance? Let's look at our favorite Chiefs vs. Jets player prop bets.

Tonight, we have a matchup featuring the best starting quarterback in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes, going against perhaps the worst starter at the position, Zach Wilson. This was supposed to be Mahomes’ first time going against Aaron Rodgers, who is out for the season with an Achilles injury.

For the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football, perhaps the biggest storyline is about a pop star who will be in attendance. With that in mind, is Travis Kelce in for another big night? Let’s look at our betting team’s favorite Chiefs vs. Jets player prop bets for this evening.

    Patrick Mahomes Player Props

    • Passing Yards: 275.5 (Over -110/Under -120)
    • Pass Touchdowns: 2.5 (Over +145/Under -190)
    • Pass Completions: 24.5 (Over -120/Under -110)
    • Pass Attempts: 36.5 (Over +100/Under -130)
    • Interceptions: 0.5 (Over +120/Under -150)

Blewis: I don’t need to give you any stats or trends to tell you how good Patrick Mahomes is. I can tell you that, so far this season, this Jets defense he is going up against has performed far below expectations.

The Jets’ defense was supposed to be the strength of this team, even before Aaron Rodgers’ season-ending injury. Yet through three games this season, they’re just 25th in success rate in defending the pass.

In the Chiefs’ three games so far this season, Mahomes has gone under his pass attempts line for tonight just once, which was last week when he was pulled in the middle of the third quarter when they were up 41-0.

The Jets might be bad, but they’re significantly better than the Bears, so I’m not expecting the Chiefs to dominate to the degree they did last week.

Pick: Patrick Mahomes over 36.5 pass attempts (-122 at FanDuel)

    Isiah Pacheco Player Props

    • Rushing Yards: 55.5 (Over -115/Under -115)
    • Rush Attempts: 12.5 (Over -130/Under +100)
    • Receiving Yards: 11.5 (Over -115/Under -115)
    • Receptions: 1.5 (Over -166/Under +130)
    • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +170
    • First Touchdown Scorer: +850

Soppe: Isiah Pacheco has run for over 50 yards in 11 of Kansas City’s past 13 wins, and seven of the Chiefs’ past eight regular-season wins have come by at least six points. The fact that I can back both trends and get plus money in this mismatch has me interested.

Pick: Isaiah Pacheco 50+ rush yards, Chiefs -5.5 (+100 at DraftKings)

    Rashee Rice Player Props

    • Receiving Yards: 25.5 (Over -135/Under +105)
    • Receptions: 2.5 (Over -120/Under -110)
    • Longest Reception: 14.5 (Over -120/Under -110)
    • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +370
    • First Touchdown Scorer: +1600

Katz: The Chiefs’ WR situation is still very much in flux. But we know Skyy Moore isn’t good, and Kadarius Toney will never be featured.

What we don’t know is whether Rashee Rice is good. I wasn’t big on him as a prospect, but I’m open to being wrong. Again, he hasn’t definitively proven he can’t play football at an NFL level.

So far, Rice is passing the eye test. Last week, he saw a significant increase in snaps (up over 50%) and routes run (up to 21). He rewarded the Chiefs’ belief in him by catching five of seven targets for 59 yards.

This could be chasing last week’s stats. However, early in the season, I am more willing to believe I am just ahead of the curve on noticing a change in usage. I think that’s what we’re seeing with Rice.

Rice’s receiving yardage line is low for a guy who could be the best WR on the team. I’m willing to take the chance that he is, and we saw the start of it last week.

Pick: Rashee Rice over 25.5 receiving yards (-113 at Caesars)

    Travis Kelce Player Props

    • Receiving Yards: 73.5 (Over -110/Under -120)
    • Receptions: 6.5 (Over -110/Under -120)
    • Longest Reception: 21.5 (Over -120/Under -110)
    • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: -125
    • First Touchdown Scorer: +450

Blewis: I tried going as long as I could without mentioning Taylor Swift by name, but I had to eventually. Last week, once I heard she was at the game, I live bet Travis Kelce’s anytime touchdown prop, which was the Chiefs’ final scoring play before they took out the starters.

Mahomes admitted after the game that they were trying to get Kelce a touchdown in front of Swift. With this being a prime-time game and Kelce being the most dangerous pass catcher in the red zone, let’s run it back.

Pick: Travis Kelce anytime touchdown (-125 at DraftKings)

    Breece Hall Player Props

    • Rushing Yards: 50.5 (Over -115/Under -115)
    • Receiving Yards: 8.5 (Over -115/Under -115)
    • Receptions: 1.5 (Over +110/Under -140)
    • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +215
    • First Touchdown Scorer: +1200

Blewis: Since breaking an 83-yard run against the Bills to start the season, finishing the game with 127 rushing yards, Breece Hall has averaged 1.69 yards per carry on 16 attempts since.

It’s not entirely his fault by any means, as he is coming off a torn ACL injury, and his quarterback is Zach Wilson, who defenses aren’t scared of in the slightest.

In an even timeshare with Dalvin Cook, it’s hard to trust Hall going over his yardage prop tonight.

Lean: Breece Hall under 50.5 rushing yards (-114 at FanDuel)

    Garrett Wilson Player Props

    • Receiving Yards: 53.5 (Over -115/Under -115)
    • Receptions: 4.5 (Over -130/Under +100)
    • Longest Reception: 21.5 (Over -110/Under -120)
    • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +210
    • First Touchdown Scorer: +1200

Blewis: If not for a 68-yard touchdown catch against the Cowboys, the under for Garrett Wilson’s receiving yards prop would be 3-0 to start the season. As long as Zach Wilson is his quarterback, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t continue to ride that trend, especially against a Chiefs defense that is third in success rate in defending the pass this season.

Pick: Garrett Wilson under 53.5 receiving yards (-110 at DraftKings)
