The Kansas City Chiefs made history by booking their third straight Super Bowl berth, having defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game.
It’s a historic feat that would’ve been difficult to imagine before the Chiefs waltzed onto the scene. Meanwhile, Ava Hunt, daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, is still unable to fathom the reality of it all.

Kansas City’s journey to its third straight Super Bowl wasn’t a smooth one. In fact, it was mired with controversies regarding favoritism from the referees in closely contested games. Nevertheless, the defending champions made their way through, led by superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Days after claiming the Lamar Hunt Trophy, Ava Hunt is still in disbelief. She took to her Instagram to post several pictures from the celebration after the Conference Championship game. Along with her family, Hunt proudly displayed the trophy and thanked God for this achievement.
“We’re going back to back…to BACK?!!? I am still so in awe of God’s faithfulness to my family and this incredible organization. Thanking Him for every second of this journey. #superbowlbound #chiefskingdom,” she captioned her post.

Ava isn’t the only one from the Hunt family to thank God for giving them an opportunity for three consecutive Super Bowl victories. Her mother, Tavia Hunt, also wrote a lengthy post on Instagram, thanking God for all the success the franchise has achieved over the last decade.
Andy Reid Wants Chiefs Players To Keep Eyes on the Prize
To complete NFL history, the Chiefs will face familiar foes in the Philadelphia Eagles to get their hands on the Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans.
Veteran head coach Andy Reid is well aware that the Eagles will be out for revenge. Hence, Reid cautioned his players to stay focused despite the celebrations of winning the AFC Championship.
“Really, when it comes down to it, all the confetti, all that’s great — I mean, it’s great,” Reid said. “Nothing like doing it with your home fans. But it’s going to come down to a football game.
“And the team that prepares and makes the least amount of mistakes will come out the victor. So, you make sure that you keep your head right and bear down and do the right things.”
