This Chicago Bears 2024 NFL Mock Draft analyzes what the Bears might be able to do with their abundance of early-round capital this upcoming April. Will the Bears’ two first-round picks be enough to boost them toward the playoffs in 2024 and beyond?

Chicago Bears 7-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft
The Bears’ most important decision is whether or not to keep Justin Fields as the team’s quarterback. Fields has one year left on his standard four-year rookie contract, and a decision on his fifth-year option is due this offseason.
If GM Ryan Poles and the Bears choose to keep Fields, a trade down with a QB-needy team at No. 1 overall is likely. But to affiliate the reader with Chicago’s current capital, there are no trades in this Bears 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
Round 1, Pick 1: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
If the team keeps Fields at quarterback, the ideal scenario for the Bears is a trade down with the Washington Commanders at No. 2 overall. That would allow Chicago to add extra capital while keeping them in a position to add Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
With Harrison and DJ Moore in the same WR room, the Bears would essentially have two WR1s. Moore is the explosive vertical threat and RAC weapon, while Harrison is an ultra-nuanced, hyper-flexible X-receiver with rare catch-point conversion ability.
Round 1, Pick 9: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
The Bears’ trade for Montez Sweat was panned initially, but over the team’s strong finish in 2023, Sweat established himself as a potentially transformative pass-rushing threat with his power. In the 2024 NFL Draft, a priority should be adding a complement to Sweat.

With the ninth overall pick, Dallas Turner makes a lot of sense. Turner isn’t quite as refined as an alternative like Laiatu Latu, but he’s younger, and with his long 6’4″, 240-pound frame, he brings an elite blend of explosiveness, bend, agility, and power capacity.
Round 3, Pick 75: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
Center is a big need for the Bears, and on Day 2 of this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Chicago adds one of the best centers in the class in Jackson Powers-Johnson. Winning the Rimington Award in 2023, Powers-Johnson is an athletic, high-IQ blocker with exceptional power drive, but he’s also an alert and combative pass protector.
Round 4, Pick 106: Cade Stover, TE, Ohio State
The Bears recently extended Cole Kmet as their TE1, but Cade Stover is a great value addition as a TE2 in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. At 6’4″, 250 pounds, Stover functions as a solid all-around TE with tenacious blocking ability, strength as a RAC threat, and reliable conversion chops as a catcher up the seam and in the red zone.
Round 4, Pick 121: Malik Washington, WR, Virginia
Doubling up at WR, the Bears take Virginia’s Malik Washington to be a force of reckoning in the slot alongside Harrison and Moore.
The 5’8″, 194-pound Washington, who caught 110 passes for 1,426 yards and nine touchdowns in 2023, is a separation machine with explosiveness, sturdy hands, and strong RAC ability.
Round 5, Pick 137: Trey Taylor, S, Air Force
With Eddie Jackson’s time potentially running short, it makes sense for Chicago to invest in a safety with playmaking range and ball skills to pair with Jaquan Brisker. Trey Taylor checks those boxes, having amassed three interceptions and four pass breakups in a 2023 campaign that won him the Thorpe Award.
