NFL fans have seen the fantastic Charissa Thompson on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football for over a season. Last week, she alluded to being unlucky in love on TNF during the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos games. Is she a Broncos fan, or is she single?
Is Charissa Thompson Married?
The NFL sports commentator has been married twice. Yet, she is currently single as a pringle.
Thompson parted ways with her ex-husband of a year, Kyle Thousand, in April 2022. The couple’s engagement became social media official in January 2020, and they tied the knot in February 2021.

Thousand and Thompson had sports in common. The sports commentator’s ex-boyfriend was a baseball player in college. The jack of all trades is also a lawyer and has had a career as a sports agent. Most recently, Thousand became the head of baseball for Milk & Honey, an entertainment and sports management company.
In an episode of her podcast “Calm Down” with fellow sports commentator Erin Andrews, Thomson got candid about how hard being divorced twice by 40 has been:
“I had a sh*tty week. The news of my pending divorce came out, and it’s obviously not something that I wanted at all as somebody who grew up in a family — my parents were married since they were 18.
“I trust in the institution, and I’m somebody that’s been married and divorced before, so when I got married the second time, I was so hopeful that it would be what you stand up there and say it will be, which is, forever, for better or for worse and all the things.”
This was the sports commentator’s second walk down the aisle. Thompson has only spoken vaguely about her first husband, whom she married at just 25. She has only had positive words for him, attempting to play wingman for him in a Facebook post in 2016:
“He’s a hot mess, and I appreciate him so much. Ladies, by the way, he’s single! I’ll hook you up.”
Weird flex, but okay.
Thompson’s Trail of Broken Hearts
Thompson also dated college basketball player Jay Williams from 2013 to 2015. The couple made a lot of sense since the former point guard was an ESPN basketball analyst.
Williams moved on with Nikki Bonacorsi after his ex sent him packing in 2015 and is now a husband and father.
Hopefully, the trail of broken hearts ends in 2023 since Thompson is currently dating again. Who is the lucky man? Steven Cundari is a self-described serial entrepreneur and marketing executive, according to his LinkedIn page.
Thompson picked a driven man who doesn’t work in sports this time. Cundari is an investor in multiple companies while co-finding others. His primary role is with Summit House, a creative marketing and advertising agency.
The TNF Sports Commentator deserves the world, and hopefully, Cundari is worthy of giving it to her forever. In the meantime, we will enjoy the awkward lingerie stories she tells on her podcast.
