Earlier this week, Coach Prime learned that the Colorado Buffaloes football program will record its highest grade point average in history this year. In a now trending social media post, one member of the university detailed to Deion Sanders that the football team’s average this year was over a 3.0 GPA. The individual then outlined how this was the highest GPA the football team had ever had in the school’s existence.
There is no doubting the positive impact Sanders has had since arriving at Colorado. Not only has the football team greatly exceeded expectations and has numerous top projected NFL Draft prospects, but the team has also focused on a strong academic-athletic balance, as shown by the impressive GPA statistics.

Will Deion Sanders Stay at Colorado Next Season?
It appears that Sanders may have various potential avenues for next season.
Over the past week, it was reported and later confirmed by Coach Prime that he and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had opened up discussions about him becoming the next head coach of America’s Team. But it goes without question that the Buffaloes would like him to stay on at the program.
Until this point, Prime Time has made clear his intention of staying with the Buffaloes and the ongoing project he started a few years ago. However, Sanders also has a strong relationship with Jones and played for the Cowboys during his playing career.
As a result, it is still largely unknown what the outcome will be for Coach Prime next season. Only time will tell what Sanders decides to do next year, but there is no doubt he has made an amazing impact on the academic and athletic lives of those on the Buffaloes football team.
