Cowboys Superstar CeeDee Lamb Shockingly Says Eagles Fans Are ‘More Passionate’ Than Dallas’ Fan Base

CeeDee Lamb may have stepped in mud with his response to a simple question of whether the Cowboys or Eagles have the better fan base.

Super Bowl festivities have come and gone, but there is still some fallout from what certain players said about other teams into live microphones. It’s the one time a year when current stars get together in a relaxed setting and can speak freely.

One of Dallas superstar receiver CeeDee Lamb’s sound bites was just released, and what he said will be head-scratching for Cowboys faithful.

CeeDee Lamb Claims Eagles Have ‘More Passionate’ Fan Base

The Cowboys selected Lamb with the No. 17 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he quickly became the next great Dallas receiver. He posted 74 receptions, 935 yards, and five touchdowns in his rookie season and hasn’t looked back since.

Lamb made the Pro Bowl each of the last four seasons and was named first-team All-Pro in 2023 after putting up 135 receptions (led the league), 1,749 yards, and 12 touchdowns. He’s solidified himself as one of the best receivers in the league and deserves the second-highest receiver contract in the game.

However, Lamb might have made a tactical error in one of his Super Bowl media appearances. Lamb, Derrick Henry, and former quarterback Dan Orlovsky spoke with influencer Katie Feeney, and Lamb was asked an innocent question.

“Who has a more passionate fan base, the Eagles or the Cowboys?” Feeney asked Lamb. From off-screen Orlovsky jokingly responded, “I can answer that.”

After a pause, the receiver responded, “Eagles, they’re crazy! Our fans are deep but, I don’t wanna say nothing crazy, but the Eagles got it.” It’s a surprising response from a current Dallas superstar.

Lamb made the second-team All-Pro list in 2024 but his team was a mess, finishing 7-10 after Dak Prescott was injured after eight games. Philadelphia beat Dallas in both 2024 meetings on their way to an NFC East championship and eventual Super Bowl thumping of the back-to-back champs.

It’s hard to disagree with Lamb as the Eagles have given their fans something to cheer about. Philadelphia has won two Super Bowls in the last eight seasons and appeared in another, while the Cowboys’ near-30-year futility has continued.

Dallas last won the Super Bowl after the 1995 season with legends Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin leading the way. Smith was vocal during Super Bowl Week about his disdain for Dallas’ 2024 play-calling and thinks they shouldn’t spend an early draft pick on Ashton Jeanty. Aikman has consistently been critical of his team’s current run of playoff flameouts.

The legendary QB also made comments during Super Bowl Week, “I speak for the Cowboys faithful in saying that, you know, it’s been a long time, and this is the Dallas Cowboys, and it’s an organization that’s had a great history, and this team has won a lot of games over the years with a lot of different players, but for whatever reason, they just haven’t been able to get it done in the postseason.”

Whether Lamb believes what he said or not, he was trying to have fun with the question, but it remains to be seen if Cowboy fans will appreciate the answer. Henry’s face said it all.
