‘Them Boys Cappin’ – Cam Ward Can’t Believe Shedeur Sanders’ Latest 2025 NFL Draft Projection

Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders made headlines again for their workout in Las Vegas that recently went viral on social media.

Quarterbacks Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders have gone viral before because of their banter during workouts, and they are at it again. Their latest workouts have fans buzzing again because of the fun banter between the two competitors and friends.

Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward Take Digs on Each Other

Ward and Sanders’ latest workout in Las Vegas went viral for several reasons. First, the pair kept ragging on each other throughout, and second, they worked out in Vegas, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, who are seeking their quarterback of the future.

“You see Pete (Carroll) over there watchin’ us,” said Ward, poking fun at Sanders. “He want me, he don’t want you.”

“Why them boys cappin’ saying you going No. 6?” Ward said to Sanders. “We both know that ain’t true.”

It’s true that some drafts have Sanders dropping to No. 6 overall, but most likely, both he and Ward will go higher in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Raiders hold the No. 6 pick, and Sanders has Vegas as a potential landing spot for himself, as well as the New York Giants.

But Sanders has hinted for some time now that Raiders are a team of preference for him, with reports of him even shopping out there. However, according to Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report, if the Raiders want him, they are going to have to trade up.

“The Raiders have also been linked to Shedeur Sanders,” Gagnon wrote in a Feb. 14 column. “They’ve been desperate for a franchise quarterback for the last few years, and they could trade up for one of the draft’s top two QB prospects, as they hold the No. 6 pick as well as an extra third-rounder.”

Sanders has already established a relationship with the Raiders through minority owner Tom Brady, whose brand he signed with, so the likelihood of Sanders going to Las Vegas at this point is a strong possibility. The only question is, will they be able to trade up to get him?

Some, like NFL Draft expert Daniel Jeremiah, think the Raiders may wait until later in the draft to pick a quarterback.

“I wouldn’t be shocked if the Raiders decided to wait until Day 2 of the draft to address the QB position, but I do see Sanders as a good fit in Chip Kelly’s offense,” Jeremiah wrote.

But if you pay attention to most Raiders fans, they hope they will address their QB situation on Day 1 of the draft.
