Even before Chicago Bears rookie QB Caleb Williams was drafted first overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, he was able to start collecting luxury cars as one of the highest-earning players in the name, image, and likeness era of college football.
With training camp and the preseason around the corner, what might you catch the new Bears QB driving to and from practice? Here’s a look at Williams’ car collection.
A Closer Look at What Caleb Williams Drives
Williams has focused on the luxury side of the car world, earning a reported $10 million from endorsement deals and his trademark. Let’s take a look at what cars are inside his garage.
Porsche Taycan GTS
Released in 2019, the Taycan was Porsche’s electric sports sedan to compete with the Tesla Model S. Williams owns two 2023 GTS models, one black and one red, which come in around $139,300.
With a 246-mile range and 590 horsepower, the Taycan GTS can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds and, under the right conditions, reach a maximum speed of 155 mph. Williams can roll into practice in style, arriving in one of his Taycans.
Mercedes Benz G-Class
Additionally, the rookie quarterback has the legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagen.
A popular luxury SUV among athletes and celebrities, the G-Class was released in 1979 and has only skyrocketed in popularity with time.

While the exact G-Wagen package that Williams has is unknown, the SUV’s price tag starts at $144,000. While the Porsches may be sleek, the G-Wagen is a large presence if the quarterback wants to make a statement upon his arrival at the facility.
Is Williams Ready for the Big Stage?
The pairing of Williams and the Bears seemed like a foregone conclusion once Chicago clinched the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. While Justin Fields showed flashes, he couldn’t put everything together, and the Bears chose to trade the No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Williams had quite the collegiate career. After spending his freshman season with the Oklahoma Sooners, he followed head coach Lincoln Riley to the USC Trojans through the transfer portal in 2022 and would win the Heisman Trophy that season.
While 2023 was not as successful from a team perspective, Williams finished his collegiate career with over 9,700 yards and 120 total touchdowns.
Is he ready to end Chicago’s recent run of bad luck? The Bears are not a first-overall pick team. They took a gamble trading picks to the Carolina Panthers in 2023 and took advantage of a poor roster in Charlotte, NC.

Not only did Chicago draft Williams first overall, but they also selected WR Rome Odunze with the ninth pick. They also acquired WR Keenan Allen and RB D’Andre Swift to further bolster the offense around Williams.
If Williams elevates the roster in Week 1, the Bears could be competing for an NFC North title. However, no matter what happens, between his current earnings, new contract, and luxury cars, this is only the beginning of Caleb Williams’ car collection.
