Lebron James Advises Myles Garrett Regarding Future in the League

Last week, Garrett showed his honesty in determining the abysmal state of the Browns and the current season. The five-time Pro Bowler highlighted that he might want to take his talents elsewhere not wanting to go through another rebuild.

James and Garrett have worked out on several occasions. As such, Garrett did not shy away from giving James his due in front of the media on Friday. “He’s [James] seen everything on the sports side of it and his advice has been very valuable,” Garrett said.

“Him [and] his team, and just being able to be around them and learn from them, it’s been very useful these last couple years, and there have been no more along the way, but definitely, using my platform, using my voice to my benefit and my team’s benefit has been crucial.”

NFL Analyst Rips the Browns for Mishandling Garrett’s Career

Garrett’s suggestion that he might leave the Browns sent shockwaves across the football world. In this light, analyst Daryl Ruiter blasted the Browns for their failures in rebuilding the organization and not adding enough talent to the roster to help Garrett out.

“This regime has not delivered the results … Myles Garrett did work out, but he’s not wasting his Hall of Fame career here,” Ruiter said during his appearance on “92.3 The Fan.” He also highlighted the case of Baker Mayfield not working out for the Browns but thriving with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After a home contest with the Miami Dolphins in Week 17, the Browns will face off against the playoff-bound Baltimore Ravens in their Week 18 game on the road. This could very well be the last time the fans could see Garrett in a Browns jersey.

Only time will tell whether the front office can make him stay or whether the 28-year-old will depart for greener pastures.
