‘No Thanks’ – Browns Fans Make Their Feelings Known As Shedeur Sanders Graphic Goes Viral

    Published on

An AI-generated photo of Shedeur Sanders in a Cleveland Browns jersey had fans in a frenzy, especially after an ugly Alamo Bowl loss.

NFL fans have taken to social media in response to a trending AI photo of Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders wearing a Cleveland Browns jersey. During Week 17, the post prompted speculation about his NFL Draft whereabouts.

PFN currently projects the New England Patriots to earn the first pick, followed by the Tennessee Titans and the Browns.

How Did Social Media React to a Potential Shedeur Sanders-Cleveland Browns Marriage?

One social media user kept it short and sweet about their desire to see Sanders in Cleveland next season.

    “No thanks,” they explained.

Others were concerned that Cleveland would be detrimental to Sanders’ development, rather than the quarterback letting down his future NFL franchise. With Deshaun Watson’s massive contract limiting roster flexibility, bringing in high-end talent in free agency could prove to be difficult.

“Career would instantly be over,” they explained.

Finally, one person detailed their belief that the Browns should look elsewhere in the upcoming draft, namely to Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward.

    “Draft Cam Ward,” they said.

Will Sanders Be Selected by the Browns in the 2025 NFL Draft?

There are still numerous factors at play before the 2025 NFL Draft order will be set. Though there are several teams in play for the No. 1 overall selection, we will know definitively who is picking first at the conclusion of Week 18.

In Week 18, the teams at the top of PFN’s projected draft order have tough games against some strong competition. The Patriots take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills; the Titans host C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. And for the Dawg Pound, the Browns play Lamar Jackson and the division-rival Baltimore Ravens.

While anyone can beat anyone on any day in the NFL, records alone seem to indicate that the Patriots, Titans, and Browns will be heavy underdogs in each respective matchup. Should status quo prevail, the Patriots will hold onto their place as the beholders of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Nonetheless, it is extremely unlikely that Sanders is drafted by the Patriots, due to the fact that the franchise drafted QB Drake Maye No. 3 overall last season.
