It’s unclear when the injury occurred, but Robinson did explode for a 29-yard run early in the second quarter before the goal-line attempt. Nevertheless, Antonio Gibson will take the backfield reigns, with rookie Chris Rodriguez Jr. serving as the RB2.

Losing your starting back can only hurt, and with Washington currently down 38-7, all they can hope for is to leave the contest without any further injuries.

    Fantasy Fallout From Robinson’s Injury

Things continue to go from bad to worse for the Commanders this season, with Robinson sustaining a hamstring injury that will prevent him from finishing the game against the Dolphins.

Robinson entered Week 13 with 937 total yards and eight TDs through the first 12 games of the year. He produced 53 rushing yards on seven carries in the first half against Miami, but his absence certainly opens the door for Gibson to enter the RB2 conversation should Robinson miss any time in the coming weeks.

Fortunately for Robinson, the team has a bye coming up in Week 14, which will give him extra time to recover from this injury. Another player worth monitoring would be Rodriguez, who has seen 10 carries over the last two weeks.
