Heading into the season, there were many players on the New York Jets who appeared to be surefire guys to have in your fantasy football lineups. Unfortunately, it’s been a tough season for all Jets offensive players.
Breece Hall early in the season was putting together a nice stretch, but even he’s struggled to produce in the past four weeks. Now, he’s battling an injury, and fantasy managers need to know whether or not Hall is going to be able to play Sunday against the Houston Texans. Let’s take a look at his status moving forward.
Latest Injury Update on Breece Hall
Right now, Hall is currently questionable for the game against the Texans, but if you ask him, he thinks he’ll be able to go. Hall talked to reporters on Thursday and said that he expects to be playing on Sunday.
Hall’s status is going to be something that fantasy managers will need to follow through the weekend, but for now, it does appear that he’ll be ready.
What Does This Mean For Hall’s Fantasy Ranking?
With Hall looking to give it a go, what does this mean for his fantasy ranking?
Right now, even if he’s 100% healthy, it’s hard to have Hall in your lineup. In his last four games, his rushing totals have been 28, 23, 25, and 16 yards, respectively.
It isn’t for a lack of touches, as Hall is averaging 11.3 carries per game. While he has been struggling to run the ball, with the issues at quarterback, Hall has been a big part of the passing game. He has 44 catches this season, with 18 of them having come in the last three weeks.

The Jets’ offensive line has been absolutely brutal this year, and it’s made it extremely difficult for any of the offensive players to be reliable in fantasy football.
Where Hall has been much more productive this year compared to Dalvin Cook is his ability to make the big play. That big-play ability is a huge reason why Hall was able to produce early in the year.
Yet, moving forward, if Hall is battling a knee injury, it’s going to be tough for fantasy managers to depend on him for the rest of the year. If you’re at the point in the season where you could be in the fantasy football playoffs, then you’re probably not going to want any Jets players in your lineup.
If he is able to go for New York, it will make Zach Wilson’s job easier in his return. However, there shouldn’t be a scenario where any Jets offensive player is in your fantasy lineup whether it’s the last game of the regular season or in the playoffs.
