Born in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dorlus originally attended Calvary Christian High School in Clearwater before transferring to Deerfield Beach High School.

    Revisiting Dorlus’ College Career

It didn’t take long for Dorlus to get on the field, playing in nine games as a true freshman in 2019, recording five tackles and one sack.

Dorlus’ sophomore season in 2020 was more of the same as he played in all seven of the Ducks’ games (the season was shortened due to COVID-19), recording 14 tackles and one sack.

However, Dorlus really broke out in 2021, starting 13 of 14 games, finishing with 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He returned in 2022 and 2023, starting every game in both seasons. He totaled 64 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks over those two years.

Dorlus finished his college career with 108 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks. He was a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection (2021 and 2023), also earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2022.

According to PFN’s Ian Cummings, Dorlus grades out as a late-Day 2 prospect and potential top-100 pick.

“He’s worthy of mid-to-late Day 2 capital but could go even higher, depending on how teams value his hybrid profile on the defensive line,” said Cummings.
