When is the Boston College Pro Day in 2022?
- Date: Friday, March 25

The 2022 Boston College Pro Day takes place on Friday, March 25. The workout session begins at 11 AM ET with all draft-eligible prospects. The Fish Field House is the indoor practice facility for all Boston College athletics, including football.
Top Boston College NFL Draft prospects working out at pro day
With a history of offensive line excellence, it should come as no surprise that Boston College’s potential return to first-round conversation centers around the big men in the trenches. Despite this reputation, the program is likely to produce multiple offensive line draftees for the first time since 2014.
With the return of Phil Jurkovec and Zay Flowers for the upcoming college football season, these trench warriors lead the prospects to watch at the Boston College Pro Day. However, there are multiple other players to keep an eye on as potential Day 3 or UDFA options.
Zion Johnson, G
Following an outstanding season for the Eagles and a pre-draft process packed with highlights, Zion Johnson has the potential to be the first Boston College player to be selected in the first round since 2019. Having played his early college career at triple-option Davidson, Johnson has seen time in two different offensive schemes at BC.
As a result, he projects as a positionally and schematically versatile prospect. Johnson showcased his strength, explosion, and agility at the NFL Combine, leading all offensive line prospects in the bench press. Expect a similar testing performance at the Boston College Pro Day as NFL teams flock to Chestnut Hill to gain further exposure to this ascending prospect.
Alec Lindstrom, C
While attention grows for Johnson, Alec Lindstrom remains one of the top center prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft. Possessing excellent football intelligence, Lindstrom has been responsible for making pre-snap offensive line adjustments. Meanwhile, he’s demonstrated the ability to adjust to post-snap changes with impressive quickness. While he might be considered undersized by the NFL, look for the Boston College center to prove he has the strength to compete at the next level when he tests at their pro day.
Trae Barry, TE
Although he took part in the NFLPA Bowl and subsequently received an invite to the Senior Bowl, Boston College tight end Trae Barry was an NFL Combine snub. As a result, the Boston College Pro Day gives him the opportunity to impress and elevate his NFL Draft stock.
The imposing tight end measured in well in Mobile, with 34 1/2″ arms and an 85 1/4″ wingspan that are evident from his catch radius on tape. A deceptive athlete for his size, Barry’s 40-yard dash time will be interesting as it pertains to his ability to be a seam threat at the next level.
