Bo Nix already has plenty of fans in Denver, but he may have a few more after his activities this week. Bo took his talents off the field and onto the ice and hardwood to watch the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche’s games on March 14 and 16, respectively.

Bo Nix Signs Balls, Shows Off Arm Strength at Avalanche, Nuggets Games
Nix had a busy weekend as he attended the Nuggets’ game on Friday, followed by an Avalanche game two days later. Nix took the time to sign a ball presented by the Avalanche mascot, Bernie, and followed that up by showing off the arm that helped bring the Denver Broncos to the playoffs in his rookie year when he threw that ball into the crowd.

The start of Nix’s tour of the Denver sports scene took place on Friday, March 12 when he “took his talents” to the Denver Nuggets’ night game against the Los Angeles Lakers. While Nix missed out on LeBron James and Luka Dončić playing in his city, he still witnessed a thrilling game, with the Nuggets securing a narrow victory.

At the Nuggets game, Nix also put his throwing skills to use. A sidearm toss from his suite appeared to go awry, as he and his friends reacted with a mix of shock and amusement. After taking the Broncos back to the playoffs, Nix has become a beloved star in a historic sports city, and his actions off the field seem to be adding to his popularity.
Nix Looks To Lead Broncos to Playoff Run
When he’s not attending other sporting events, Nix is working on his game to lead Denver back to the playoffs following his successful rookie campaign. The Broncos finished the season with a 10-7 record, a two-game improvement from their 8-9 tally the previous year. Nix quickly established himself as one of the league’s most promising young quarterbacks.
The rookie threw for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Though Denver fell to the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs, Nix’s 321-yard, four-touchdown performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in the final week of the regular season gave Broncos fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
While Nix likely prefers to let his play gain him attention, his growing connection with Denver sports fans is something that can strengthen his potential as a franchise quarterback. For a rookie, Nix certainly acts like a veteran.
