Bills vs. Steelers Game Preview
After Justin Fields had both good and bad moments during their Week 1, 20-12 loss against the Houston Texans, Steelers fans will see him have another shot at showing off his abilities while also seeing starting quarterback Wilson take the stage in Week 2.
Head coach Mike Tomlin shared that Wilson has had a really good couple of days and has been a full participant with the team. If he doesn’t face any setbacks after coming back from his calf injury, he will definitely play in Week 2.

Talking about his injury, Wilson said that he doesn’t play with fear and will focus on the basics of the game, like knowing when to slide, when to get down, and avoiding certain hits that can cause long-term problems.
According to Tomlin, the starters will roughly play four series, and depending on whether they’re getting quality work, he will let the younger guys take charge.
Like the Steelers, the Bills are coming from a disappointing 33-6 loss against the Caleb Williams-led Chicago Bears.
The Bills faced a massive blow at Tuesday’s practice. Their linebacker Matt Milano suffered a major bicep injury, which will now result in him getting surgery, disabling him from playing until at least December.
Former Tulane player Dorian Williams, whom the Bills drafted as the 91st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, says he’s ready to take his teammate’s place and will now get more playing time on the field during the preseason matchup against the Steelers.
McDermott addressed the team’s loss and said that he expects the whole team to step up to fill Milano’s void.
