‘Let’s Do It!’ — Bills Fans Hyped Over Potentially Trading for Myles Garrett as GM Brandon Beane’s Past Comments Go Viral

Myles Garrett has requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns. The franchise initially refused to part ways with the six-time Pro Bowler, but he could now be dealt before the 2025 NFL Draft.

Almost every team in the league should be interested in pursuing Garrett, as he is a future Hall of Famer and can elevate a team into a Super Bowl contender. An old quote from the Buffalo Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane recently went viral, and it resulted in the team’s fans believing they could potentially get the Browns star.

Bills Fans React to Their GM’s Quote Related to Myles Garrett

Beane previously commented on how he would love to get a player like Chris Jones, who can make big defensive plays in the clutch moments to help his team win. Garrett is arguably better than Jones and would be a perfect addition to the Bills, who are looking to get over the hump after constant failures in the postseason.

The Bills’ fans on social media urged their general manager to make a move for Garrett as they think he is the final piece who can help them win a Super Bowl. Here are some of the reactions:

“He needs to do whatever is necessary to land Myles or [Maxx] Crosby. If he can’t get this done we are stuck in the revolving door of January sadness,” said a fan.

Another fan added, “Then he better be ‘heck yeah’ on the phone with Andrew Berry.”

“Here’s your chance. Don’t blow it,” wrote a fan.

“It’s now or never, Brandon,” added one fan.

The Bills’ defense has constantly underperformed in the postseason against good quarterbacks and wasted Josh Allen’s heroics. They recently gave up 31 points to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, recording a grade of 63.3, according to PFN’s Defense+ metric, and if Garrett was on their team, the story could have been different.

The Browns star is considered by many to be the best defensive player in the league. He has made the Pro Bowl in six of his eight seasons and has been an All-Pro six times. Garrett was the Defensive Player of the Year last season and is aiming to join a Super Bowl contender.

Getting Garrett will not be easy for any team in the league, as the Browns would command an enticing trade package. However, since the player is 29 years old and has only two years left on his deal, getting multiple first-round picks for him will be tough for Cleveland.

The Bills have draft assets available to make a trade for Garrett, but it remains to be seen whether the franchise would be willing to make a move for a star defensive player after their $120 million investment in Von Miller didn’t work out.

Bills, Lions, and 49ers Would Be Dream Destinations for Garrett

Teams like the Bills, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers could be dream destinations for Garrett. These three teams are already Super Bowl contenders, and getting a player of his caliber will make them arguably the best team in their respective conferences.

The Lions were active at the trade deadline and were interested in making a move for Crosby, so they are likely to be interested in getting Garrett. Pairing the Texas A&M product with Aidan Hutchinson will be too good of an opportunity to pass for the Lions since they have the resources to get a deal done.

The 49ers already have Nick Bosa, but adding Garrett will put them among the best teams in the NFL. San Francisco missed the playoffs this past season, so they might be desperate to make a big move, and getting the Browns star will be a step in the right direction.
