The Buffalo Bills came into the Wild Card Round as the second seed in the AFC with a 13-3 record. They were one win behind the Kansas City Chiefs for the No. 1 seed and first-round bye. With their strong record and AFC East crown, the Bills were scheduled to play the Miami Dolphins in the first round, who finished as the seventh seed.

Before the conclusion of the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens game tonight, the only thing that we know for sure is that the Bills will be at home next week. Who they play is actually quite simple.
Scenario #1: Bengals Defeat Ravens
Update: The Bengals held on to defeat the Ravens in the Wild Card Round. They will now take on the Bills in Orchard Park for the Divisional Round.
In this first scenario, we assume that the Bengals defeat the Ravens. Cincinnati is currently laying more than a touchdown (-8.5) at home, according to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook. Joe Burrow and his offense have been operating at an incredibly high level to close out the season. Now, they get to go up against what the Ravens are saying will be a combination of backups Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown.
Lamar Jackson will miss this game due to a knee injury. This same game took place last week, and the Bengals won 27-16.
If nothing shocking happens and the Bengals get the win, then the Bills will be welcoming Cincinnati in the Divisional Round. It would be an incredibly meaningful game for both teams after Damar Hamlin’s injury forced the first matchup this season to be canceled.
Scenario #2: Ravens Shock the Bengals
In this scenario, the Ravens, as the sixth seed, will travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. That means that the Buffalo Bills will instead welcome Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round.
Jacksonville would be coming off their unbelievable comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers, where they trailed 27-0 at one point. A huge second half by Lawrence, combined with a masterful coaching job by Doug Pederson, helped the Jaguars win 31-30 on a last-second field goal.
