The deepest position for fantasy football is wide receiver, but finding consistency can be fairly tough the deeper we go. However, the shape of the position can lead to a number of different strategies, making every draft somewhat unique in how things fall.
With that caveat in mind, let’s take a look at our consensus WR rankings for 2024 and which players are the best to target in fantasy drafts.

Which WRs Should You Draft for Fantasy Football?
Generally, when looking at RB or WR, it’s hard to pick too many holes in the first couple of rounds. The majority of players being selected there make sense and fall in a similar region in our rankings.
The one exception is Davante Adams, who we have ranked as our WR15, but has an ADP of WR10. While not a massive difference in the grand scheme of things, it is a significant difference that high up in drafts.
One of the best values in that top group right now appears to be Brandon Aiyuk. The uncertainty over his future has likely resulted in fantasy managers knocking him down a little. He’s currently being drafted as the WR16 while we have him at WR12. Wherever Aiyuk ends up, he should be a WR1 for his team and with a great opportunity to finish within the top five at the position.
Another intriguing value is Jaylen Waddle, who is currently being selected at WR22, which is where he finished last year. However, Waddle’s red-zone numbers were down significantly in 2023, which is something we expect to bounce back in 2024. Although still playing in the shadow of Tyreek Hill, the gap between them feels like it is closing.
One of the most polarizing players this season is Rashee Rice. With uncertainty over exactly what his potential suspension will look like, Rice has an ADP of WR34 but is ranked inside our top 20 at the position.
On a per-game basis, Rice is a WR2, but over the course of the season, he likely doesn’t play enough to accumulate those points overall. That makes him a tough player to judge, but if you’re willing to ride out the suspension, there is value to be found.
One other player who sits significantly higher in our rankings than his ADP is Brian Thomas Jr. The shape of Jacksonville’s offense makes him a polarizing player to consider because he could easily be the fourth or fifth pass-catching option in the offense. However, Gabe Davis and Christian Kirk are by no means a lock to succeed, and Thomas could find himself as the Jaguars’ WR1 as the season wears on.
