The college football betting market heats up every week on Saturday. Take a look at the best college football prop bets for Saturday's Week 6 action.

Top College Football Prop Bets for Today

Tackling the prop bets via the offerings on DraftKings SportsBook, these are the top college football prop bets currently being offered.

J.J. McCarthy Over 220.5 Passing Yards vs. Indiana

Indiana’s largely been known for their defensive prowess under head coach Tom Allen. This year, however, is the complete opposite. The Hoosiers are allowing a whopping 277.8 yards per game this season, 14th-most in the country. That also ranks as the worst pass defense in the Big Ten. The only threat to the under on J.J. McCarthy’s passing yards total of 220.5 is the fact that he may not make it all four quarters.

Michigan’s offensive line should allow for clear passing lanes, and the formerly talented secondary from Indiana has holes at seemingly every position. McCarthy has improved every single game this season and the upward trajectory is all coming to a crescendo.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson Under 253.5 Passing Yards vs. Utah

We backed the under on Dorian Thompson-Robinson once before, but conveniently he put together a Heisman-worthy performance against Washington that night. Granted, we went 4-0 on prop bets the rest of the way through in the Washington vs. UCLA game last week, but we’re back at it again with an under for DTR.

The Utah defense is nothing like the Huskies’. Clark Phillips III has played like a sure-thing first-round NFL draft pick this season while Cole Bishop has led an envigorated defense that brings the pain at every level. The Utes can cover the slot, take away deep shots, and patrol the underneath passing lanes that the UCLA offense loves to exploit. DTR may move the ball with his legs, but the aerial assault will stay on the tarmac in this one.

C.J. Stroud Over 330.5 Passing Yards vs. Michigan State

Like McCarthy above him here, C.J. Stroud‘s only real threat to not capitalizing on his over is his availability. The Michigan State defense is allowing the second-most yards per game in the Big Ten and are allowing 11.5 yards per completion. Stroud has been remarkably consistent this year, understanding what defenses are giving him, and improving his timing with a new cast of receivers each week.

He wasn’t asked to do much last week with Miyan Williams running wild, but this week may be a bit different, as MSU’s biggest strength is their run defense while their biggest lapse is in the secondary.

Max Duggan Under 2.5 Passing Touchdowns vs. Kansas

The Kansas Jayhawks are limiting opposing offenses incredibly well this year and have allowed just seven touchdowns in five games through the air. Kansas has subscribed to the bend-don’t-break attitude in terms of pass coverage, giving up a bevy of yards but no scores.

Max Duggan has always had the tools to be a star quarterback, but when the going has gotten tough, he’s never really received help from his playmakers. Expect the going to get tough and Duggan to once again revert back to what has won him so many games of his career: his legs. That takes the air out of the ball, literally, and keeps Duggan as a threat to hit the over on his rushing touchdowns total but the under here.

Jayden Daniels Over 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns vs. Tennessee

Tennessee’s defense has been subpar to start the year. It hasn’t hurt them really at all because their offense is a cheat code and can score at will. That being said, if the Vols don’t generate turnovers, they’re giving up yards at will.

Jayden Daniels may not be the quarterback that Hendon Hooker is, but there’s no denying the similar athletic prowess with their legs. Daniels may have to take the game over with his legs if LSU wants to hang around with Tennessee. Keeping the ball on the ground keeps the Tigers’ defense off the field and ups the chances for Daniels to get in the end zone via his legs.

Blake Corum Over 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns vs. Indiana

A reminder that the Indiana defense is Swiss cheese this season and Blake Corum makes even the best defenses look mediocre. He’s Michigan’s bell cow and receives every goal-line carry for the Wolverines. Corum has 10 touchdowns — one per every nine carries — this season and should be a lock to score in every single game in 2022.

Brock Bowers Over 58.5 Receiving Yards vs. Auburn

Auburn’s defense is giving up just the 34th-most yards per game this season through the air. They’ve allowed only two passing touchdowns and just 5.8 yards per attempt. However, against a similar offense in Penn State, the Nittany Lions tight end gashed Auburn’s linebacking corps and safeties on the perimeter for big gain after big gain. Brenton Strange went for 80 yards on just six receptions against Auburn after the play-action passing attack allowed the TE to leak out of formation and up the sidelines for big plays.

Sound familiar? That’s essentially Georgia’s road map to victory every week. Add in the fact that Brock Bowers is not of this realm, and you got yourself an easy over here.
