    After last season was derailed by an injury to star quarterback Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals have done a great job of bouncing back this offseason. While Cincinnati has made plenty of notable additions in free agency, they will have opportunities to improve their roster even more in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Yet they need to address their long-term need at both offensive and defensive tackle. Cincinnati will be in a great position to do so with the 18th overall pick.     Should the Bengals Tap the Crimson Connection Again and Draft JC Latham?

    The Bengals signed Trent Brown to a one-year deal as Williams’ replacement at right tackle. Yet they need to add a long-term solution at offensive tackle in the 2024 NFL Draft. Pro Football Network’s Jay Morrison believes the Bengals could go back to the Alabama pipeline to find their next cornerstone at offensive tackle. If JC Latham is available with the 18th overall pick, Cincinnati will likely sprint to the podium with their selection.

    Another option for the Bengals with the 18th overall pick will be defensive tackle. Cincinnati is scheduled to pick right in the sweet spot where the best defensive tackles in this year’s draft class will likely be selected. While many believe Byron Murphy II is the top defensive tackle in the 2024 NFL Draft, Pro Football Network’s Ian Cummings believes Johnny Newton is the better player and a stronger fit for the Bengals.

    As the 2024 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, teams are likely putting the finishing touches on their draft boards. On the latest episode of The PFN Bengals Podcast, Morrison and Pro Football Network’s Dallas Robinson ran through several mock draft scenarios for the Bengals. The duo tested different strategies, which included taking players at different positions with the 18th overall pick and then seeing how the board fell with later selections.

    Anthony Miller’s 3-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Bengals Land Top Defensive Tackle

    While Morrison and Robinson tested several scenarios for the Bengals in their mock drafts, Pro Football Network’s Anthony Miller released his latest three-round mock draft. Miller also believes that Cincinnati needs to address the trenches on both sides of the ball. With the 18th overall selection in his latest mock draft, Miller has the Bengals selecting Newton.

    After trading longtime starting running back Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans, the Bengals have moved in a different direction at the position. Cincinnati signed running back Zack Moss in free agency, and he recently showcased his impressive strength in a video posted on social media.
