After getting married a couple of years ago, Owens and Biles couldn’t have their time off due to their busy schedules. The Chicago Bears man was transitioning to a new team while Biles was hard at work for the Paris Olympics.
They jetted off to South Africa this offseason to finally have their time. The couple have posted about their outings on their Instagram throughout their trip. However, an encounter with a lion left them scared as Biles posted the video on her Instagram story.
“Not gonna lie, I almost s**t myself,” she captioned her story.
Ownes also took to his Instagram story and uploaded a couple of videos of their lion encounter. “I had to stop recording my heart was beating so fast,” the 29-year-old captioned on his first video.
“This is all I could get,” he wrote in his second video, capturing the back side of the lion moving away from the couple.
Apart from the scary encounter with the lion, Owens and Biles met another predator during their safari. However, their encounter with Cheetah. Biles also posted some pictures of this encounter earlier in the day.
“She turned to look at us & she was stunning,” she captioned her first post. “Miss girl was tired after her meal,” she captioned her second picture on Instagram.
