Armand Membou faced a murderer’s row of NFL-caliber pass rushers throughout Missouri’s SEC schedule. He passed each test with flying colors. However, the NFL Draft is as much a traits-based operation as it is results-based. Does his scouting report mimic a first-round pick’s come April?

Summary and Draft Projection
Arguably no offensive lineman in the country faced more high-quality pass rushers on their schedule than Membou. Likewise, no blocker consistently found a way to disallow pressures and sacks against top-notch competition the way Membou did.
The young right tackle still has a ways to go technically to make things look “prettier” as a pass protector and run blocker, but his effectiveness and athleticism are unquestionable. His appearance on Bruce Feldman’s “Freak List” certainly makes sense while watching the on-field product.
There were very loud whispers that Membou would be an interior transition candidate earlier in the NFL Draft process. While that move potentially makes sense for a few of the offensive linemen in this class, it does not for Membou. At all.
His most conspicuous flaw is his ability to hunker down against larger, longer, leg-churning pass rushers going through his chest. That flaw does not exist in the same way against less dense pass rushers trying to run through a brick wall from wide rushing alignments. A move to the interior would only highlight his core instability against larger rushers.
With improved strike timing, Membou could round into one of the more dominant right tackles in the NFL. His résumé and athletic profile should be enough to make him a top-32 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
