How Many Picks Do the Cardinals Have in the 2025 NFL Draft?

Currently, the Cardinals have five picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. They’ve retained all of their original selections in the first five rounds. However, they traded away their seventh-round pick in a deal for Robbie Anderson (also known as Robbie Chosen) and traded their sixth-round pick to the Denver Broncos for EDGE Baron Browning.

As of now, the Cardinals haven’t acquired any more picks via trade from other teams. That said, there’s plenty of time for that to change ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft next April.

What Are the Cardinals’ Biggest Needs in 2025?

The Cardinals are in an uncertain, yet exciting spot with their roster building. The team has a very large young core — a core that’s relatively unproven. But that uncertainty also gives Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon the freedom to search for talent across the board.

In the 2025 NFL Draft, wide receiver should again be an area of particular focus for Arizona, as the team doesn’t have much beyond 2024 first-round pick Marvin Harrison Jr. Michael Wilson is solid, but another dynamic playmaker is desperately needed.

The interior offensive line could also be a position group to supplement. Center Hjalte Froholdt and guard Will Hernandez will both be free agents in 2025, and third-round rookie Isaiah Adams still has to prove himself at the professional level.

All this being said, the defensive side of the ball bears just as much consideration for the Cardinals’ brass. Edge rusher remains a tepid position without overwhelming talent beyond trusted veteran Dennis Gardeck.

Linebacker and safety are long-term question marks with contract situations pending, and more defensive tackle depth would also be welcome.

Cornerback, at the very least, moved down the Cardinals’ totem of needs with the additions of Max Melton and Elijah Jones. Between Melton, Jones, Sean Murphy-Bunting, Garrett Williams, and Kei’Trel Clark, Arizona has plenty of young talent to sort through at CB.
