The young pass rusher put on some unnecessary weight at Texas A&M (Mike Elko seems to like them thick) and in turn was less explosive, and dominant, in 2024. However, the young rusher has an arsenal of pass-rush moves that could make many NFL veterans blush, and losing 10-15 pounds to play around 265 should unleash a truly devastating exterior rusher who also just so happens to be a consistent run defender to boot. There were none and have been no such inconsistencies with Williams over the past two seasons. Although Ohio State's DT hasn’t developed into a true three-down threat, he is one of the most consistent run defenders we’ve seen over the past few cycles. He’s quick-witted, powerful, and energetic against the run while providing a bit as a pass rusher when he really pins his ears back. Watching the Utah State offense in 2024 will make the most sane individual put their head through drywall. Royals was subjected to five-yard routes and manufactured screens almost exclusively this season, but he showed enough in 2023 to command Day 2 attention as a three-level threat. The Cardinals could go for the UNLV Rebels' Ricky White. The young WR had a decent CFB season this year where he made 79 receptions while covering 1041 receiving yards, with 11 TDs under his belt. Florida Gators defensive back Jason Marshall Jr. could also be one of the players the Cards might target. The 22-year-old defended four passes, made 20 tackles out of which 13 were solo and seven were assisted. Marshall also had one forced fumble in the 2024 season. The Cardinals could look out to acquire Syracuse CB Fadil Diggs' services this offseason as he could well be useful for the club in 2025. The giant 6'5", 261 lbs CFB star this season made 25 solo tackles, and has 7.5 sacks and one forced fumble under his belt. Another Syracuse star the Cards might look to add to their roster ahead of 2025 season is RB LeQuint Allen. The 20-year-old CFB star had 228 carries for 1,021 rushing yards and 16 TDs this season.
