From his hilarious commercial appearances to wild and funky play selections on game day, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has always been known for his sense of humor and ability to have fun. It’s no surprise that ahead of the biggest game of the year, in front of more media members than he’s seen all season long, Reid let that sense of humor shine through on the podium.
In a world where everything is being questioned, and any and everything can have a conspiracy theory attached to it, the Chiefs being in the Super Bowl and their path to it seems to be one of the biggest ones in the NFL to date. Reid was asked about it on Tuesday, and he did not disappoint with his answer.
Andy Reid Has Hilarious Answer to Conspiracy Theories
In front of a large media contingent, Reid was asked about the conspiracy theory that involves his team, Travis Kelce’s megastar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and the correlation between it all and President Joe Biden’s reelection hopes. His response did not disappoint.
“We had a nice visit with President Biden last year. That’s about as far as I can go,” Reid joked while leaning into the theory for the fun of it.

Reid was also asked by a German reporter about Swift and her presence around the NFL and what effect that has on the team and the league. Reid responded again with humor by saying, “That’s way out of my league, just like speaking German.”
Reid didn’t stop there with the humor. When asked about one of the biggest differences from his start as an NFL coach to the current day, Reid stated, “Well, well when I got started there were no cell phones.”

Even though Reid and his team are preparing to play in the biggest game of the year, it doesn’t seem to have him tight or antsy whatsoever. Reid seems to be enjoying the moment, not making it a bigger deal than it has to be, and has just tried to be himself no matter the situation.
It’s far easier to do so when you have won a trophy the year prior and have made it to the Super Bowl a total of four times with this team and quarterback.
Familiarity breeds comfort, and Reid looks to be completely within his element amongst the chaos right now.
Only time will tell if that feeling of easiness that allows for his humor to shine through will be a shared sentiment for his team as they try and become back-to-back Super Bowl champions.
