Andrew Whitworth Net Worth: How Much Does Amazon Prime Analyst and Super Bowl-Winning OL Earn?

    Published on

Andrew Whitworth once earned his paychecks protecting quarterbacks. How much does the Super Bowl winner now earn in his post-NFL career?

Andrew Whitworth once starred at an NFL position that wasn’t used to the limelight at offensive tackle. But lately, the Super Bowl winner has become a prominent media personality.

Since his last game lining up for the Los Angeles Rams, Whitworth has emerged as a popular broadcast analyst for Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football coverage.

Few, however, know about “Big Whit’s” net worth, which we’re diving into.

How Much Is Andrew Whitworth’s Net Worth?

The Super Bowl LVI champion still rakes in a lot of money in his post-NFL career.

Whitworth holds a net worth of $40 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.

Does this mean that the former All-Pro offensive tackle still has money carried over from his playing days?

Not long ago, Whitworth signed a three-year, $30 million deal in 2020 with the Rams. That deal eventually allowed him to chase his long-awaited first Vince Lombardi Trophy. Whitworth, though, has had multiple other big deals that surpassed the $20 million mark.

At his first NFL stop with the Cincinnati Bengals, Whitworth signed a six-year, $24.6 million contract in 2008. Nearly 10 years later, Whitworth joined the Rams on a three-year, $33.75 million deal — allowing him to join the Sean McVay/Les Snead regime in L.A.

In total, Whitworth reeled in approximately $120 million between all the NFL contracts he ever signed.

With a net worth in the $40 million range, it’s clear Whitworth has taken care of his finances in the two years he’s been away from lining up in the trenches.

How Popular is Whitworth on TV? Looking at Past Appearances

Again, offensive linemen like Whitworth aren’t often considered the types to earn more shine compared to quarterbacks, wide receivers, or even edge rushers. But still, Whitworth has become a strong sales pitchman in his post-playing career.

Whitworth struck a deal with Pepsi ahead of the 2022 season, which included helping give a tour of the “Pepsi House” for fans. Most fans, though, likely know about Whitworth’s humorous appearances with Geico.

As a member of the Amazon Prime broadcast crew, Whitworth also helps push out Amazon items, including a November 2023 commercial with Adam DeVine promoting Black Friday.

The L.A. region also knows how big Whitworth’s heart is for his community. He once donated $250,000 to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Back in 2018, Whitworth donated his entire Week 10 game check to the Ventura County Community Foundation’s Conejo Valley Victim’s Fund, which came in the wake of the Borderline Bar and Grill mass shooting that claimed 12 lives on Nov. 10, 2018. The venue was located five minutes away from where Whitworth and the Rams practice.

One week after Borderline, Whitworth donated an additional $60,000 game check to families affected by the Woolsey Fire, which forced thousands out of their homes, including Rams players who lived near the epicenter of the fire that engulfed Ventura County.

Now, Whitworth has gone from Pro Bowl blindside protector to helping comprise a fast-growing NFL broadcast crew through Amazon on Thursday nights.

Whitworth is often seen interacting with fans in the stands ahead of games before giving his personal analysis of each team. He’s officially entering Year 3 with the streaming service’s NFL coverage.
