The Detroit Lions locker room, led by Amon-Ra St. Brown, turned celebratory with LiAngelo Ball's Tweaker after clinching the No. 1 seed.

It is a party in the Motor City. A remarkable two-year transformation is near its final phase as the Detroit Lions earned their first No. 1-seed finish in franchise history, thanks to a Week 18 victory over the Minnesota Vikings to secure the NFC North. While the fan base was overjoyed, the players were ecstatic on the field and in the locker room.

And thanks to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, we got an inside look at Detroit’s locker room as the celebrations began with LiAngelo Ball making a cameo thanks to his rap song, “Tweaker.”

The Detroit Lions Party to Tweaker

Over the last few weeks, “Tweaker” has become something of a viral sensation. Whether you look at Instagram, TikTok, or any social media platform, multiple sports teams have been playing the rap track in locker rooms across the country.

So, a team as spirited and rowdy as the Lions weren’t far behind. St. Brown was the man with the camera, putting on the custom Champions hat for the Lions as the noise of the party could be heard in the background.

As linebacker Alex Anzalone joined him, the music got louder, and the first lyrics turned up. “I might swerve, bend that corner,” played aloud before everyone collectively synced to the “Woah.”

It was celebrations galore as “Tweaker” continued playing throughout the locker room. The song is the first one for Ball to release in 2025 after previous ones like “BITF” and “Freestyle” failed to hit the mark.

Currently, Ball is out in Mexico, playing in the CIBACOPA league since 2024. Before taking his talents elsewhere, he tried to make it to the NBA multiple times, including tenures with the G-League and the Charlotte Hornets Summer League team. Unfortunately, Ball did not find the same success that his brothers, Lonzo and LaMelo did.

Meanwhile, for the Lions, success is their mantra for the season. And now, with the one-seed locked up, they get some all-important rest. Detroit’s bye week came all the way back in Week 5, and the injuries on the roster have been piling up for weeks as a result.

Running back David Montgomery might make it back for the playoffs, but the defense, which lost pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson early in the year, has continued to break down, with cornerback Terrion Arnold and defensive end Pat O’Connor the latest two to take a seat on the sideline.

Despite the injuries, the Lions have managed to win games — but the playoffs are a different animal. While head Dan Campbell believes they will face off against the Vikings again in two weeks, their third encounter this season might tell a different story.
