Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper was able to battle through a groin injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. But will be available for fantasy football lineups for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans? Let’s take a closer look.

Latest Injury News Surrounding Amari Cooper

Cooper managed to produce seven receptions for 90 yards. He played the majority of snaps against the Steelers while dealing with a groin injury he picked up in practice last week.

To the surprise of very few people, Cooper was a non-participant for Wednesday’s practice on a short week less than 48 hours playing on Monday.

You should certainly monitor Cooper’s participation in practice throughout the week, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Cooper misses Thursday’s session, too.

    Will Cooper Play This Week?

The fact Cooper was able to get through the entire game against the Steelers without suffering any sort of significant setback bodes well for him being available for the upcoming game against the Titans.

If Cooper is available for the contest in Week 3, a matchup against the Titans secondary — who are allowing 281 passing yards a game through the first two weeks of the season — could be a favorable fantasy matchup for managers who want to feel comfortable inserting Cooper into their lineup this week.

What Does This Mean for Cooper’s Fantasy Ranking?

On a positive note, Cooper’s groin injury didn’t have any significant impact on his production or involvement in the Browns’ passing game against the Steelers.
