Is Alvin Kamara Playing in Week 7?

Alvin Kamara (hand) managed limited practices all week and will be available for the Saints’ TNF matchup against the Broncos.
Kamara will have to make hay in a Spencer Rattler-led offense, but he turned in an RB17 performance with the rookie under center in Week 6. With Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed both sitting out Week 7, Kamara should be in line for a massive pass-catching role.
While Denver boasts one of the league’s best defenses, they’re in the middle of the pack guarding against receiving running backs.

Should You Start or Sit Alvin Kamara in Week 7?
I overcalculated the impact a change under center would have on Kamara’s role in the passing game, as that is now three straight games with at least eight targets, a role that, even without any production on the ground, would be worthy of a spot in most fantasy lineups.
The lack of efficiency concerns that I raised this offseason are alive and well (24 carries for 66 yards with zero 10-yard runs over the past two weeks), but it simply doesn’t matter. The Broncos lead the league in blitz rate and rank fourth in pressure percentage, a style of play that is begging for Kamara to threaten the NFL record for receptions in a game.
Maybe not, but it’s more than enough to keep him in lineups across the board, even if you think the carries hold next to zero value.

Alvin Kamara’s Fantasy Points Projection in Week 7
Kamara is projected to score 13.4 fantasy points in PPR formats. This includes 12.5 rushing attempts for 48.6 yards and 0.2 touchdowns. It also includes 3.5 receptions for 27.3 yards and 0.2 touchdowns.
