The Philadelphia Eagles have struggled mightily without star wide receiver A.J. Brown. Since Brown suffered a hamstring injury ahead of Week 2, the Eagles have scored just 17.3 points per game in three matchups without him.
After being traded to Philadelphia in 2022, Brown has now missed four total games for the Eagles. In those four games, the Eagles are 1-3 and have averaged 15.2 points per game without Brown. It’s clear that he plays a vital role in Philadelphia’s offensive success.
Luckily for the Eagles, Brown hinted at a potential return in Week 6 with his latest post on social media.

A.J. Brown Hints at Potential Return in Week 6
After missing three games due to a hamstring injury, Brown could be ready to return in Week 6. The Eagles will host the Cleveland Browns in Philadelphia for the team’s second home game of the regular season.
Brown, who has embraced the nickname “Swole Batman” from Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, turned to social media to tease his potential return. Brown shared a post on his Instagram profile, which included a photo of Bruce Wayne looking at his Batman suit.
If Brown is ready to put his suit back on and return to action, it would provide a much-needed boost to Philadelphia’s disappointing offense. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts continues to turn the ball over far too often, as he is struggling without his favorite target.
When Brown first suffered his hamstring injury ahead of Week 2, he told Lisa Salters of ESPN that he expected to miss “a couple of weeks.” If Brown is ready to return in Week 6, he would be four weeks removed from his initial injury, lined up with his initial timeline.
Eagles WR AJ Brown told ESPN’s @saltersl that he does expect to miss a couple of weeks due to the hamstring injury he suffered Friday.

Brown’s Fantasy Outlook
Once Brown returns for the Eagles, he will immediately retain his role as a legitimate WR1 option in fantasy football. In Week 1, Brown hauled in five receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown, the seventh-highest scoring game among all wide receivers in the opening week of the regular season.
Considering that the Eagles have a bye week in Week 5, there’s a chance that current managers with Brown could be willing to listen to trade offers for him. If Brown is available for trade in your fantasy football league, you should absolutely submit an offer for him.
Brown finished last season as the fifth overall wide receiver in full-PPR scoring leagues. After his impressive performance in Week 1 and his potential return this month, Brown could become a league-winning player with his upside in Moore’s offense.
According to PFN’s Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart, Brown is currently the eighth-most valuable wide receiver in the NFL. With a trade value of 67.7, it could be hard to swing a trade for Brown ahead of his potential return.
Regardless of Brown’s potentially high asking price, now could be the time to strike for one of the best wide receivers in fantasy football. Before this hamstring injury, Brown had missed just one game for the Eagles and should be a reliable WR1 moving forward.
