Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Kimmel Continue Verbal Attacks as Intense Feud Escalates

How many days until the 2024 NFL regular season begins? That’s what many fans are asking themselves as just mere days into the new offseason there is a dispute between New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Kimmel dominating headlines.

In what was surely not on anyone’s bingo card for the start of the new year, Kimmel and Rodgers are continuing to exchange barbs after Rodgers’ last appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

Verbal Attacks Continue Between Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Kimmel

It started with Rodgers making peculiar comments regarding Kimmel and Jeffrey Epstein’s list, which is rumored to be released revealing names of many high-profile people linked to sex trafficking and other heinous crimes.

That turned into Kimmel rightfully being upset by being discussed in the same sentence as the matter with no reason for doing so and voicing his displeasure on his show regarding Rodgers and the words he used.

Kimmel went on to say, “Either he actually believes my name was gonna be on Epstein’s list, which is insane. Or the more likely scenario is he doesn’t actually believe that, he just said it because he’s mad at me for making fun of his top knot and his lies about being vaccinated.”

“Aaron Rodgers has a very high opinion of himself,” Kimmel continued. “Because he had success on a football field, he believes himself to be an extraordinary being. He genuinely thinks that because God gave him the ability to throw a ball, he’s smarter than everybody else. The idea that his brain is just average is unfathomable to him.

“We learned during COVID somehow he knows more about science than scientists. A guy who went to community college then got into Cal on a football scholarship and didn’t graduate. Someone who never spent a minute studying the human body is an expert in the field of immunology. He just put on a magic helmet and that ‘G’ made him a genius.

“Aaron got two As on his report card. They were both in the word Aaron, OK? And can you imagine that this hamster-brained man knows what the government is up to because he’s a quarterback doing research on YouTube and listening to podcasts.”

Kimmel would go on for over seven minutes discussing the matter before ultimately concluding that he is owed an apology from the controversial quarterback.

“And when I do get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions, you know what I do?” Kimmel asked. “I apologize for it. Which is what Aaron Rodgers should do. Which is what a decent person would do. But I bet he won’t. If he does, you know what I’ll do, I’ll accept his apology and move on. But he probably won’t do that.”

    Rodgers’ Latest Response to Kimmel

Naturally, Rodgers took to McAfee’s show on Tuesday to respond to Kimmel and try to clear the air, and his name at the same time.

“I’m glad that Jimmy is not on the list. I really am,” Rodgers said. “I don’t think he’s the P-word [pedophile.] I think it’s impressive that a man who went to Arizona State and has 10 joke writers can read off a prompter.

“I wish him the best. I don’t give a s— what he says about me,” Rodgers said of Kimmel. “As long as he understands what I actually said, that I’m not accusing him of being on a list and I’m all for moving forward.”

As far as Rodgers goes, that’s about as direct of an apology you’re going to get from the veteran QB. Hopefully, with both getting a chance to use their platforms to express themselves, this story is put to bed once and for all.
