A.J. Brown has been the most important piece on the Philadelphia Eagles offense this season, but he appeared to get banged up on Sunday night. What happened to Brown against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7, and what is his current injury status?
A.J. Brown Injury Update
Brown looked shaken up after hauling in a 10-yard pass from Jalen Hurts with 9:24 remaining in the second quarter.
He took his helmet off and spoke to a trainer on the Eagles’ sideline but then entered the medical tent to be evaluated.

Fortunately, Brown soon emerged from the blue tent, re-entered the game, and proceeded to catch a 33-yard pass. He was stopped just inches short of the goal line, but Hurts scored a rushing touchdown on the next play.
It’s safe to say that Brown appears to be healthy despite leaving the game for a few plays.
What Would the Eagles’ Offense Look Like Without Brown?
It’s been an uneven start to the season for fantasy managers with DeVonta Smith, who’s posted two top-20 finishes but three weeks outside of the top 40. Those inconsistencies would likely disappear should Brown miss time, as Smith would shift into the lead target role in Philadelphia’s elite offense.
Dallas Goedert is a weekly starter, and while his fantasy floor would rise a bit in the event of a Brown injury, his general ranking as the third TE wouldn’t.
