The NFL Stream and NFL Games Today TV Schedule in Week 16 features three games on Saturday. Tampa Bay heads to Ford Field to take on the Lions at 1 PM ET. The 49ers take on the Arizona Cardinals in an NFC West showdown at 4:30. And finally, the Miami Dolphins head to Sin City for a Saturday night tilt against the Raiders. With a final set of Saturday NFL games set to kick off today, here’s all the information you need to know beforehand.
Who plays in NFL games today?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-5) at Detroit Lions (5-9)
Channel: NFL Network
Start Time: 1 PM ET
Brady and the Buccaneers kick things off on the NFL Saturday games, coming off a thrilling come-from-behind victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15. It took Tampa two quarters of football and another second-half Atlanta collapse to win, but the victory keeps the Buccaneers on pace with the Rams in the NFC playoffs. Now, they’re almost guaranteed a wildcard berth.
Detriot has the NFL’s third-worst defense, allowing opposing offenses to rack up 401.4 yards and 31.1 points per game. Detroit has won just one game and has allowed 35.7 points per game since firing head coach Matt Patricia. Tampa Bay was surprised by a deceptive Falcons team in Week 15. If they struggle with the Lions, this will be very surprising.
San Francisco 49ers (5-9) at Arizona Cardinals (8-6)
Channel: Amazon Prime Video
Start Time: 4:30 PM ET
This NFL game today kicks off at 4:30 PM ET with a broadcast featured on Amazon Prime Video. The 49ers have played some great teams close lately but have failed to play the role of underdogs since their Week 12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. If Arizona wins, they’re in position for the NFC seventh seed.
Arizona is on a two-game winning streak following a three-game skid. With two top-five defenses left on the Cardinals’ schedule, securing a wildcard berth will not be easy. Can San Francisco avenge its Week 1 four-point loss, or will the Cardinals’ high-powered offense be too much for Nick Mullens to keep up with?
Miami Dolphins (9-5) at Las Vegas Raiders (7-7)
Channel: NFL Network
Start Time: 8:15 PM ET
The final Saturday NFL game today sees the Miami Dolphins heading to Las Vegas to take on the reeling Raiders. During the 2019 season, the Raiders went into Week 12 at 6-4. They would end the season by losing five of their last six games and missing the playoffs. Unfortunately, 2020 is a serious case of deja vu for Raiders fans. The team went into Week 12 this season at 6-4 and lost three of their last four games, putting their playoff hopes on life support.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins head to Sin City, needing two more wins to clinch a wild card birth. Following their 22-12 victory over the New England Patriots, Miami sees some key offensive contributors return in Week 16. RB Myles Gaskin was activated off the reserve list. Miami also had WRs DeVante Parker, Jakeem Grant, and TE Mike Gesicki practicing on Wednesday. Miami should take advantage of Las Vegas’ porous defense, while the matchup between the Raiders’ offense and Dolphins’ defense will tell the tale of this game.
