Postponed NFL Tuesday Night Football game Week 13 | Cowboys vs Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are getting healthy. They aren’t going to get everyone back who missed Wednesday’s game against the Steelers, but some of their best players will return for today’s NFL game. Mark Ingram, Calais Campbell, and Lamar Jackson are all expected to return to the lineup tonight. However, they will be without talented, complementary players like Willie Snead and Mark Andrews. The Ravens’ already-anemic pass offense will likely stay that way on Tuesday night, but the ground-and-pound scheme could be particularly devastating.
What should we expect from the Ravens?
The good news for the Ravens is that the Dallas Cowboys field the NFL’s worst rushing defense in the NFL. There’s little doubt that the Ravens should be able to run all over the field against the Cowboys. That said, things might be a bit tougher than they seem. If the Cowboys don’t have to fear the pass, they could stack the box, making running the ball that much more difficult, especially if they are shooting gaps.
That’s going to make Hollywood Brown even more critical than usual. Move the chains, and get first downs. He’s been frustrated by the lack of targets he’s seen this year. He has no excuses in today’s NFL game as he’ll be the only reliable target on the field. If the Ravens continue to avoid him in the passing game, the bewilderment should set in, as the Ravens’ passing attack may be going through a metamorphosis that “outsiders” may not be privy to.
What should we expect from the Cowboys?
On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys field one of the NFL’s least effective offenses. This is not due to a lack of talent. The Cowboys have one of the NFL’s best-receiving cores headlined by Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and rookie CeeDee Lamb. The backfield also features a star with Ezekiel Elliot leading the way. Despite the big names, the Cowboys have been unable to move the ball consistently since Dak Prescott’s injury.
With Andy Dalton and even Ben DiNucci, the Cowboys have struggled to get anything going at quarterback. Things won’t get any easier with today’s game, as they go up against one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Ravens’ 19.5 points allowed per game puts them third in the league.
Final score prediction for the NFL’s Tuesday Night Football game today
Even missing a few key pieces, the Ravens should win this one. The Cowboys just don’t have the talent to compete this year. Ravens win a slow contest 25-16.
