With the fantasy football regular season nearly finished, Pro Football Network will now have weekly Kicker rankings for the 2020 season. We begin with our fantasy kicker rankings for Week 13. While offensive position players dominate fantasy football, just as things do in the NFL, sometimes a game comes down to having the better kicker.
When ranking fantasy kickers, general scoring includes points for field goals and extra points. The scoring incorporates variances in the length of field goals for additional points. Field goals up to 39 yards in distance typically score three points, with a one-point increase for every extra 10 yards. Points are deducted for missed kicks.
Week 13 Fantasy Kicker Ranking Top 10
1) Younghoe Koo
Fantasy football’s number one kicker is the obvious choice for fantasy kicker rankings in Week 13. This week is one of two games left that Koo will play in a dome, but he will remain a top option through the season’s end.
2) Harrison Butker
The kicker on an offense quarterbacked by Patrick Mahomes will always find himself high up on weekly rankings. The Kansas City offense should be all but unstoppable on Sunday against the Broncos, and Butker will benefit from any necessary cleanup work.
3) Daniel Carlson
With Josh Jacobs set to miss this game, the Raiders could have trouble converting in the red zone, leaving easy points up for grabs for a kicker that is averaging the fourth-most points per game at the position.
4) Jason Sanders
Currently, on a four-game streak of double-digit points, Sanders showed off the long game against the Jets, going 2/2 from 50+ yards out. He’s made six such kicks without a miss over the last four games signaling that Brian Flores and the rest of the coaching staff trust him.
5) Wil Lutz
The only thing going against Wil Lutz is how much the Saints are converting at the goal line now that H back Taysom Hill is their starting quarterback. Converting extra points is nice for a safe floor, but five or six points aren’t cutting it as we near the end of the regular season, even in the best situations.
6) Rodrigo Blankenship
With this being the first of three games in a dome for the Colts, Blankenship is a top option for those looking to set and forget the position. Not having to factor in weather will play well for his standing in fantasy kicker rankings for week 13 and beyond.
7) Tyler Bass
Buffalo’s inability to get a running game going has kept them from being a serious super bowl contender when looking at how many other teams possess that and better traits. Still, for fantasy, this bodes well for Bass, who currently sits at K6 and has put up double-digit points in three straight.
8) Justin Tucker
Last week’s game against the Steelers was Tucker’s first game of the year where he did not register a field goal attempt. We’re more than willing to bet that it was the extenuating circumstances the Ravens were dealing with. The leg is there; the resume is there; there’s no need to worry about one of the best kickers playing.
9) Mason Crosby
Good fantasy kickers tend to find themselves on good offenses. Still, Crosby has seen his ceiling held down by Rodgers’s aggressive playstyle combined with Aaron Jones and his backfield mates keeping things humming in the red zone. Still, Crosby is a good kicker for teams employing a bend, don’t break approach at the position.
10) Jason Myers
The Giants’ defense has been better of late, and Myers could get a chance for a few short tries if the Seahawks cannot punch it in from close. With this offense always on the cusp of hanging 40 on a defense, there’s still a chance he repeats last week’s 12 point performance.
