Week 10 NFL Power Rankings
Before we get started, Pro Football Network’s Senior NFL Analyst Matt Williamson (former NFL Scout and ESPN Analyst) released his Week 10 Power Rankings following the games on Monday Night Football in Week 9. This week, Williamson has the Patriots among the five worst teams in the league due to a roster lacking talent all over the field. Meanwhile, the Ravens are among the five best teams in the league behind Lamar Jackson and a stellar defense.

Ravens vs. Patriots Game Preview
The Patriots have a huge challenge in front of them. The good news is that two of their three wins this season have come against teams over .500. The bad news is that there 25th in run defense, and they’re 1-4 in their last five games.
Look for the Patriots offense to revolve around short quick passes and the running game. Cam Newton isn’t the quarterback he used to be, but he can still thrive in the short passing game. He proved that last week against the New York Jets. With Julian Edelman still out, Jakobi Meyers will be the primary target in the passing game. Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead will likely see double-digit touches leading the Patriots backfield.
On the other side, the Patriots have the secondary to keep Lamar Jackson from shredding them in the air. That won’t matter if they can’t stop the Ravens running game. The Patriots don’t have the speed at linebacker to contain Lamar Jackson, so Bill Belichick will need to figure out some way to keep him in the pocket. If he can’t, the Ravens will run all over the Pats all night long.
That’s going to be the Ravens strategy. They are at their best when Lamar and Mark Ingram are running the ball for chunk gains. The less Lamar has to throw the ball, the better for their offensive production. They’ll attack the Pats weak run defense until they give the Ravens a reason to do otherwise.
On defense, the Ravens have two stout press-man corners in Jimmy Smith and Marcus Peters. It’ll be difficult for the Pats short passing game to kick into gear if their receivers are constantly jammed at the line, so look for the Ravens to play a lot of press coverage.
The Ravens are the heavy favorites in this one. Their running game should control the game from start to finish.
Sunday Night Football Tonight Score Prediction: Ravens win 31-17
