Upcoming SmackDown to Bring Official Announcement for Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41?

Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns have a lot to settle between them. Fans are eager to see what happens next in their ongoing rivalry. On Monday, March 17, during RAW, Rollins revealed that all three men will be present on the upcoming SmackDown.

Fans and experts have already started speculating about what might happen when they share the same ring this Friday. Will we finally get an official announcement about their much-anticipated Triple Threat match?

    Seth Rollins on RAW

Rollins appeared on Monday Night RAW to address his steel cage match from last week. He said he could have ended Punk’s career on Monday, but Reigns interfered. Now, just like in the old days, he has to clean up Reigns’ mess.

He also confirmed that The Tribal Chief and The Second City Saint will be on SmackDown this Friday—and he’ll be there too.

Later, while talking about his rivalry with Punk and Reigns on RAW Recap, Rollins shared his thoughts on both:

“There’s love in other places. There’s love for Roman Reigns. Do I agree with what he stands for? Absolutely not. But there’s a seed of love in there somewhere, and that makes it more painful when I get in there and have to do what I have to do to him.

“So, CM Punk, there’s no seed of love. That is gone. He erased that a long time ago, so it’s pure, unadulterated hatred. That’s all I have for him. You mentioned the Netflix debut and this match at the Garden, I hate that he’s a part of it with me. I hate it so much.”

The Story of Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns in 2025

CM Punk eliminated Roman Reigns along with Seth Rollins at the Royal Rumble—only to be eliminated moments later by Logan Paul. Rollins, furious, waged war against both men, delivering two brutal stomps to Reigns’ head, leaving fans concerned for The Tribal Chief.

This heated moment at the Rumble led many fans to speculate about a possible rivalry among the three. But with Reigns absent for over a month, fans were left wondering whether WWE had any concrete plans for him.

Meanwhile, Punk and Rollins continued their feud. Punk eliminated Rollins inside the Elimination Chamber, and in return, Rollins delivered a devastating stomp that ultimately cost Punk the match.

The chaos between them led RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to schedule a steel cage match between the two for the March 10 edition of RAW.

During the match, both men tore each other apart. But suddenly, the crowd erupted as Roman Reigns appeared, dragging Rollins out of the cage and launching a brutal assault. Officials rushed to stop him from doing more damage, which let him enter the cage and deliver a brutal spear to Punk.

Official Announcement of a Triple Threat Match on SmackDown?

Most fans believe a Triple Threat match between Reigns, Rollins, and Punk is inevitable. However, WWE has yet to make an official announcement.

With all three wrestlers set to confront each other this Friday, many expect WWE to finally confirm the match. If a contract signing is planned, the date and venue could also be revealed.

Perhaps WWE will officially add this match to the WrestleMania 41 card this Friday—or maybe fans will have to wait a little longer. But one thing is certain: when these three superstars step into the same ring, it’s going to be a must-watch segment on SmackDown.
