WWE Women’s United States Champion Appears as Special Guest at NASCAR Pennzoil 400

The WWE loves to feature its superstars in crossover promotions with other major brands. These collaborations bring attention to the company and its wrestlers while also reaching new audiences.

NASCAR is no stranger to crossover appeal, and it looks like the company is expanding its connections with professional wrestling. Recently, at a major NASCAR event, a WWE champion made a special guest appearance.

Chelsea Green Appears at NASCAR Pennzoil 400

Chelsea Green is the current WWE Women’s United States Champion, and despite being a heel, she has become a fan favorite for her antics and promos. Green’s talent has taken her to new heights, creating exciting opportunities along the way.

One of those opportunities came this past weekend when NASCAR welcomed her to the Cup Series for the Pennzoil 400. But Green wasn’t just there to watch — she was a guest of honor, leading the field as the event’s celebrity pace car driver.

WWE stars have done this before, including Charlotte Flair and Matt Hardy.

Green was thrilled to be part of the moment, as this was her first-ever NASCAR race. She took the wheel of the NASCAR Toyota Supra pace car to guide drivers around the track before the race began.

Green continues adding accomplishments to her résumé, and now she can add pace car driver for NASCAR at the Pennzoil 400 to that growing list.

Green’s United States Championship Reign So Far

Green won the title in December 2024, becoming the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion, defeating Michin in the tournament final to a loud ovation. Having now held the championship for three months, Green has only defended the title against Michin — winning all four of their matches.

Green’s most recent televised title defense took place in a Philadelphia Street Fight on SmackDown, where she walked away victorious with an assist from Alba Fyre. With her feud against Michin seemingly over, Green recently named her dream opponent for WrestleMania 41.

While at the Pennzoil 400 press conference, Green mentioned she would be interested in a potential match at WrestleMania 41 against Nikki Bella. She even expressed interest in putting her United States Championship on the line in a hair vs. hair match against Bella, calling it her dream match.

Will we see Bella vs. Green at WrestleMania 41? Or will other challengers step up to try and dethrone Green? The women’s division has plenty of potential contenders, so time will tell who steps up next.
