Stephen Curry is widely regarded as one of the biggest and brightest stars in basketball. In addition to his deadly 3-point shooting, the Golden State Warriors icon is known for his signature moves. Some of those were on full display after he led the Warriors to their seventh straight win of the season against the New York Knicks on March 15.
Stephen Curry Participates in Viral Superman-Spiderman Challenge
Curry was the main man for the Warriors once again on Saturday night, posting a team-high 28 points, seven rebounds, and five assists to lead Golden State to a 97-94 win over the Knicks. It was the Warriors’ seventh straight victory, a streak that began after their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this month.
After the game, Curry showed off his moves by participating in the viral Superman-Spiderman challenge with Quincy Helsel, an internet personality and basketball player from Mountain Range High School. Curry took the famous Spiderman knee pose while Helsel played Superman, jumping behind the NBA champion.

Curry’s admiration for Spider-Man is well known. He even made a cameo in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, appearing on a billboard, and once claimed he sometimes feels like Spider-Man on the court.
When asked to describe moments where he felt like Spider-Man, Curry replied:
“I feel like it’s one of those things where it’s hard to explain just because everything just feels in sync. You’re not really hearing the crowd, even if there’s, like, 18,000-19,000 people in the stadium, you don’t really feel it. You feel like you’re by yourself out there. There’s a little bit of inner conversation going on, almost like narrating what’s going on in real time. But the flow of the game, or I guess the flow of your senses, are all just in sync.”
Curry recently hit a milestone achievement of 4,000 career 3-pointers, becoming the first NBA player to do so. Now, he’s chasing his fifth NBA championship with the Warriors.
In a bold move at the NBA trade deadline, the Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat, signaling a strong push for another title during the Curry era.
Curry has continued his stellar play, averaging 24.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 44.7% from the field and 39.6% from 3-point range this season. Since Butler’s arrival, the Warriors have become the hottest team in the NBA, winning 14 of their last 16 games and posting a 39-28 record.
Currently the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference, the Warriors are built for a deep playoff run. Their next test comes against the Denver Nuggets on Monday, March 17, with Bay Area fans hoping for another title to add to their dynasty.
