Paige Bueckers surely knows how to make an impact. Not only is she a dominant force on the court, but she’s also changing lives outside of it.
The UConn Huskies superstar guard just made a major move, teaming up with Multi-Billion Dollar Brand and Good Sports to help kids and sports organizations affected by the devastating wildfires in LA.
And honestly, this is what makes Bueckers special. She’s always about the bigger picture.
Paige Bueckers Teams Up With Gatorade for a Powerful Cause
Bueckers took to her Instagram story to share the news of her latest collaboration with Gatorade and Good Sports. She announced a $50,000 donation towards new sports equipment for youth organizations impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
In a video clip, she said, “I am excited that I can partner with Gatorade and Good Sports to give a $50,000 donation towards new sports equipment to underserved new sports organizations that are at a loss to the fires in LA.”
Bueckers Furthur added, “This new sports equipment will help kids get back to the sport and help organizations get back to the sports programming.”
The move is literally a game-changer. In times of crisis, sports can be a source of healing, a way for kids to find normalcy again. And Bueckers is making sure that happens, giving these young athletes a chance to return to the courts and fields that mean so much to them.
Bueckers Outshines in Popularity and Sales
While Duke Blue Devils’ freshman phenom Cooper Flagg has been lighting up college basketball and solidifying himself as a generational talent, it’s Bueckers who’s stealing the commercial spotlight.
Despite Flagg’s insane NIL valuation of $4.8 million, Bueckers has outperformed him in popularity and sales, making her the top-earning athlete. College basketball analyst Robin Lundberg broke it down in a recent YouTube video, explaining just how significant this is.
“UConn superstar Paige Bueckers was the top-earning athlete, male or female, in February while Duke’s Cooper Flagg finished as the second-highest earner,” Lundberg stated. “For somebody who grew up when I did, that’s a huge deal.”
It’s no surprise, though. Bueckers has built a brand beyond basketball. With her amazing court-play, business ventures, and social efforts, she’s proving why she’s one of the most influential athletes in the game right now.
With the Big East regular season and tournament titles secured, Bueckers and the Huskies now have their sights set on an even bigger goal—cutting down the nets at the national tournament later this month.
And with the way things are going for her, both on and off the court, don’t be surprised if she makes history once again.
