‘She Can Shoot the Sh*t Out of It’ – Pat Beverley Has High Praise for WNBA Star Caitlin Clark’s Insane Workout Routine

Caitlin Clark’s extraordinary skills continues to earn her high praise, and this time, it’s coming from one of the NBA’s most vocal players – Pat Beverley. The veteran guard, known for his no-nonsense attitude, was blown away by Clark’s workout routine and shooting skills after seeing her train firsthand.

During the March 12 episode of The Pat Bev Podcast, Beverley shared his experience watching Clark put in the work at the NBPA gym in New York City, and he didn’t hold back in his admiration.

Beverley Marvels At Clark’s Intense Shooting Drill

Beverley, never one to hand out compliments easily, was in awe of what he saw.

“Fast forward to today, right? NBPA basketball gym. I walk in today, I’m on one side working out, Caitlin Clark on the other side. I said, there you go, two f*****g legends, Patty,” Beverley joked.

But as he watched Clark go through her shooting drills, his respect for her game only grew.

“She can shoot the s** out of it,” he said. “She can shoot the s** out of the ball. And I’m older now, so I got to get on that bike and stroll for a couple, five, six, seven minutes. So while I’m strolling, I’m looking at her shooting it. And she’s one of those shooters where, if you know, as a gym rat, you guys know, like ‘Damn, bro, why’d you throw that pass bad? Give me the ball in my chest.’ I am like, ohh, she is a gangster also. Throw me the ball the way I want it.”

Clark’s drill, which forced her to restart from the beginning if she missed, was something Beverley himself admitted he might steal.

“She was doing two in a two corner wing and if you miss you have to go back to the next spot and if you miss you have to go to the starting spot. She had a nice drill, I am literally stealing on it and she was shooting the s*** out of it.”

In typical Beverley fashion, he wrapped it up by doubling down on his respect and giving his nod for Clark being the face of the WNBA saying, “agreed.”

Clark Also Earns Respect Of Cheryl Miller

Beverley isn’t the only basketball icon showing love to Clark. Cheryl Miller, one of the greatest players in women’s basketball history, has been a strong supporter of Clark and recently defended her against unfair criticism.

Appearing on the All the Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, she called out those constantly questioning Clark’s rise.

“Come on, you big dummies. Is she getting hyped? Yes. But she was in the backyard. She was putting in the same time, sometimes maybe more than you were. I can’t fault her for what she was given.

“But you know, as much as she was given, you can’t tell me that door would have swung the other way where she didn’t live up to the hype. So with that being said, you big dummies, you’re getting paid now. Everybody now has an opportunity to pull up a chair and have a seat”

Clark has already had an unbelievable start to her WNBA career. She led the Fever to their first playoff appearance in eight years, while winning Rookie of the Year, and earning All-WNBA First Team honors in her debut season.

Now, with NBA veterans like Beverley and WNBA legends like Miller backing her, it’s clear Clark isn’t just a rising star—she’s a game-changer poised to scale the heights of WNBA.
