The Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks delivered an absolute thriller in the NBA on March 11, with Tyrese Haliburton stealing the spotlight in the game’s final moments.
Trailing by three with just seconds left, Haliburton sprinted down the left sideline, caught the inbound pass, and launched a wild three-pointer while falling down. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s herculean effort to block the shot, Haliburton, a two-time NBA All-Star, somehow buried the bucket and drew a foul, earning a free throw that sealed a stunning Pacers victory.
Sitting courtside, Haliburton’s family watched in awe, later joining him in an emotional celebration.
Haliburton Shares a Heartfelt Moment With Family
As the final buzzer sounded, Haliburton soaked in the celebrations, but before heading to the locker room, he made his way to the courtside seats where his family was waiting. His father greeted him with a proud embrace, beaming with joy after witnessing his son’s clutch performance.

It was a special moment for Haliburton, who had missed the last three games due to a hip injury. Despite not being at full strength, he delivered when it mattered most, finishing with 14 points and 10 assists.
The moment wasn’t just special for Haliburton’s family—it also drew praise from Pacers legend Reggie Miller, who was calling the game for TNT. Miller, unable to contain his excitement, showered Haliburton with admiration for his incredible game-winning play.
“That’s awesome. There’s no better feeling, especially in this building, to have a shot and a moment like that,” Miller said. “Knowing you’re chasing the team in front of you for the fourth seed, this is just a wonderful feeling for Haliburton and his family.”
Haliburton, who shares a close bond with Miller, was thrilled to have him in attendance. Speaking to TNT’s Allie LaForce, he reflected on what it meant to perform in front of one of Indiana’s all-time greats.
“That’s big bro,” Haliburton said. “Saw him in the building, just trying my best to put on a show. We talk a lot, we have a really close relationship. I’m glad he was in the building to witness that. Felt better knowing that he was here.”

Pacers Now Tied With Bucks for Fourth
The win moved the Pacers into a tie with the Bucks for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Apart from Haliburton, Pascal Siakam (25 points) and Bennedict Mathurin (17 points) played key roles in securing the victory.
On the other side, Antetokounmpo (19 points), Brook Lopez (23 points), and Taurean Prince (18 points) nearly got the job done for the Bucks—until Haliburton’s game-winner changed everything.
Now, both teams sit at 36-28, setting up a highly anticipated rematch on Saturday night in Milwaukee, where the Bucks will have a chance to set the record straight.
