Kyle Busch extended his NASCAR Cup Series winless streak to 61 races after finishing eighth at the Shriners Children’s 500. The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, however, remained in good spirits after the race. He also shared a flashy reel on Instagram to show that his self-confidence remains at an all-time high.
Kyle Busch Sends Clear Message With Fiery Instagram Reel
Busch added another top-10 finish to his tally after finishing seven places behind the champion Christopher Bell. The Richard Childress Racing driver took to social media to recognize the team’s success, pointing out their continuous pursuit of improvement.
“Another solid weekend by this 🎱 team! Big improvement from last year here. Let’s keep this string of Top 10s going next week at home💪🏻@RCRracing x #zone_partner”, Busch wrote on X.
Busch, however, would be aware that he has not stood on the podium as the champion since June 2023. He seemed set to end the wait recently when he led for 42 laps at the Circuit of the Americas. The Nevada man could not hold on to the lead, however, and a poor closing lap cost Busch a potential win.
Even though he was in good spirits after the race, Busch must not have enjoyed reading the discussion about his winless streak on social media.

Busch dropped a spirited Instagram reel on his profile to announce that his head remains in the right place. The clip opens with a part of Busch’s post-race interview with Fox Sports at COTA.
“We got the grit, you know, we’re going to outwork anybody there is to work,” he is seen saying on camera. Then, the famous Beastie Boys song “Fight for Your Right” starts playing in the background.
Most fans took the message positively. Busch had been racing well this season, but luck wasn’t on his side in some cases. With three top-10 finishes already in the bag, Busch can hope to end his drought soon in the coming races. His performance is on an upward trajectory, so maybe we will see him pop off the champagne bottle soon.
