Naomi shocked the WWE Universe on the March 7 episode of SmackDown, admitting to longtime friend Bianca Belair that she was the one who attacked Belair’s former partner and tag team champion, Jade Cargill, back in November.
The revelation has sparked strong reactions from fans and even other WWE superstars, including New Day member Kofi Kingston, who took to X the next day to share his thoughts.
Kofi Kingston Sides With Naomi
The former WWE Champion didn’t hold back on his thoughts about Belair’s reaction to Naomi’s admission, calling Belair “ungrateful.”
Bianca is hella ungrateful tho…

This aligns with the recent attitude shift of Kingston and his New Day partner Xavier Woods, who turned their backs on their longtime friend and stablemate, Big E, back in December.
That night, Kingston and Woods shocked the world, refusing to support Big E and instead shaming him for his lack of support while Kingston was out with a neck injury.
Since their betrayal of Big E, the New Day has become bitter and ruthless, making it no surprise that Kingston would side with Naomi’s attack on Cargill. It’s possible Kingston even sees himself in Naomi — both turned their backs on friends and have struggled to gain support from the WWE Universe for their actions.
The identity of Cargill’s attacker was seemingly confirmed when the former AEW star made her return at Elimination Chamber. During the match, she entered the chamber as a shocked Liv Morgan and Naomi watched on. At first, Cargill appeared to be targeting Morgan, but then she shifted gears and attacked Naomi.
At the time, Morgan and her tag partner Raquel Rodriguez were the top suspects in the November attack. So when Cargill went after Naomi in front of Belair, it was a truly shocking turn of events.
Cargill had been out of action since the November attack, leaving fans wondering about her status for WrestleMania. Now, it looks almost certain that the former tag team champion is headed for a 1-on-1 showdown with Naomi at The Show of Shows.
Where Does Bianca Belair Stand?
Belair is now the wild card in this escalating feud between the former “Big 3.” Despite the emotional start to the Elimination Chamber match, she fought through and won, securing her WrestleMania title match against WWE Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky.
But it’s clear Belair still has unanswered questions about what went down between her former partners.
Will Naomi’s actions be too much for Belair to forgive? Or will she choose to side with Naomi, turning her back on Cargill in the process?
With WrestleMania just over a month away, we’re sure to get some answers soon.
