Kevin Durant has decided to set himself apart from other NBA superstars in how he develops his business portfolio and engages in interesting investments. Durant is a two-time NBA champion and considered one of the best scorers in league history.
Even at an international level, Durant’s fame eclipses most NBA stars. That makes him a perfect ambassador for brands and companies. Durant recently agreed to pair up in a unique collaboration to target the food market.
Since it is one that most players have never tried to influence, one must wonder what Durant is truly endorsing and whether it will be received well by the general public.
Kevin Durant Partners Up To Release a Premium Steak Sandwich
While the majority of NBA stars would look to partner with companies that promote sports or sports-adjacent industries, Durant has decided to go in the opposite direction and is working with Joe & the Juice, a Danish chain of coffee shops and juice bars located across the world.
Given their international reach and popularity, the company decided to take things to the next level by partnering with Durant. Both sides have collaborated to release “The Steak by Kevin Durant.” It appears to be Joe & the Juice’s first premium sandwich and was reportedly inspired by Durant’s passion for health and sustenance.

This new steak sandwich is said to have a robust flavor. Perhaps the use of sweet honey mustard and peppery arugula together works in the case of “The Steak by Kevin Durant.”
When asked about partnering up with Durant, the global VP of brand and communications, Kasper Garnell, shared his company’s enthusiasm to have Durant on their team.
“We’re honored to introduce our new, first-of-its-kind, premium sandwich collaboration with KD himself — an inspiration both on and off the court,” Garnell said. “At JOE & THE JUICE, we always aim to partner with individuals who stand out and transcend the field they’re in. We’re thrilled to share this delicious, protein-rich creation with the world.”
It was also mentioned that “The Steak by Kevin Durant” is expected to have 33 grams of protein. That makes it the perfect meal for those with a fitness-conscious mindset.
Since the sandwich is expected to release worldwide, its prices are expected to fluctuate based on the country. With the Durant-inspired steak sandwich, did the two-time NBA champion make the right decision to partner up with Joe & the Juice?
