Remember Justin Jefferson? Yes, the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, earning $35 million per year. Well, that record didn’t last long. According to sources, Maxx Crosby has now set a new benchmark, signing a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Las Vegas Raiders.
And when Raiders general manager John Spytek publicly praised Crosby, the 27-year-old didn’t stay silent. Reciprocating the love from the Raiders organization, Crosby made a statement that might define loyalty for years to come.

Maxx Crosby Makes Bold Commitment Despite Raiders’ Struggles
In a video posted on X, Crosby said, “There’s no other place I’d rather be. I want to be a Raider for life.”
The video features highlights of Crosby’s dominant performances and moments that showcase his deep connection with the franchise.

Drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Crosby has worked his way up to become one of the league’s premier pass rushers. Over his career, he has recorded 59.5 sacks and 423 pressures, accounting for 35% of the Raiders’ total pressures. Only Myles Garrett and T.J. Watt have generated more pressures during that span.
A four-time Pro Bowler, Crosby also ranks fifth in sacks and second in total pressures since entering the NFL. Despite these elite numbers, his decision to remain in Las Vegas is surprising, given the team’s struggles.
The Raiders have made the playoffs just once in Crosby’s tenure. Still, the Michigan native remains optimistic, believing in the team’s future under Spytek and new head coach Pete Carroll. A contract extension seemed inevitable.
Crosby’s Historic Contract Extension
As mentioned, Crosby’s three-year, $106.5 million extension makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. His deal also includes $91.5 million guaranteed, securing his future in Las Vegas.
Crosby had two years remaining on the contract he signed in 2022, and while the Raiders gave him a $6 million raise for 2024, fans were thrilled by the latest deal.
“I envision Maxx being a Raider for a long time here, and I think that’s what he wants too,” Spytek said.
Crosby’s commitment and resilience, even after battling injuries last season, prove that his loyalty has been rewarded. Now, his focus is on leading the Raiders back to the playoffs.
