Earlier in the week, Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes released various training photos to the social media platform Instagram. As evident from the recent post, Mahomes is already back to work after the brutal Super Bowl 59 loss his Chiefs suffered to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The set of photos shows Mahomes completing various strength and conditioning exercises, including running with a resistance band and throwing a large training ball.
Mahomes tagged ‘@stroupebob’ and ‘@hsmithphoto’ in all three uploaded photos.
Mahomes and the Chiefs were terrible from start to finish in Super Bowl 59. At one point, the Chiefs were losing 34-0 in the third quarter of the contest, something extremely rare in the Mahomes era. In Super Bowl 59, Mahomes completed 21 of his 32 passes for 257 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and two interceptions. However, most of those positive values came when the contest was well out of reach.
Despite this poor performance, Mahomes still had an impressive campaign for the Chiefs. He had 3,928 passing yards, 28 total touchdowns, and 11 interceptions on the year.
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs 2025 Season Outlook
Despite the embarrassing Super Bowl loss, Mahomes and the Chiefs are not expected to take a step back next season, something that has become routine since Mahomes took over as the starting QB of the team. A large part of that success comes down to head coach Andy Reid, somebody who is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. He is a four-time Super Bowl champion coach, three of which being as head coach.
Meanwhile, Mahomes is already one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Though the previous Super Bowl loss unquestionably impacts his short-term outlook, Mahomes is already a three-time Super Bowl champion, two-time NFL MVP, a two-time first-team All-Pro, and a six-time Pro Bowler before the age of 30.
For most players, that resume would be enough to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame as it is, however, Mahomes still has a long career ahead of him, something that fans of the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals may not want to hear.
In addition to this, his recent social media posts indicate that Mahomes is not yet satisfied and is still looking to continue the Chiefs’ dominant dynasty again next season.
